Its thursday night and ive got a short window to get out on my syndicate The Birch. I fish 17HRS In interchanging weather fronts. i get no sleep, and somebodys fishing in my swim. everything seems against me but i soldier on.

Just keeping ringing the changes mate. Reminds me of when I first started on the mighty Walthamstow reservoirs - blank after blank after blank. I just kept turning up, trying new things, being consistent and god there in the end.

I moved few years ago from where had two rivers close so was trout man not fly just bait etc tryed carp other year spent couple grand just not for me got room full new and unused kit 😂but love my shimano stc spinning rod shimano baitrunnner 4000 on 12lb line il do bit whatever fishing pops up on camps good luck tank 9lb was my biggest carp a mirror

The birch is such a tranquil place to fish. I've just joined and my first session two weeks ago i was lucky enough to catch a upper double and a 30lb 4oz mirror. Did a night last night and blanked. Tight lines 👍
