Q is clear.BB is contraindicated in acute HF when u have a myocardial pathology like acute MI or DCM where u have systolic HF.Here the cause of HF is AF with RVR with preserved systolic function and the best drug in that situation is a BB to control rate .Digoxin is seldom used in modern day cardio,mostly as an add on drug

There is a wrong concept that BB are contraindicated in all acute heart failure.It requires further conceptual understanding.
