      the hate is from the past. lol. y'all act so confused as if he hasn't been an ass people. that's how. he's changed yes but to answer your question, it's cuz he's been a repeated ass and cry baby in the past, but we respect change when we see it...and as a person. yes

      +GG don't lie to yourself this interviewer was horrible . She has no substance ! Every time lebron finished a statement she responded with "that's Great" every time . She had no good segways , no follow ups on his previous statements , she was just basically askin questions and movin on to the next , boring ! Bad interviewer ! She need to get it together

      +IGNORANT is BLISS Go watch First Take then if you want all that. This interview was about Lebron and not the interviewer, that's the mark of a good interview, when the interviewer doesn't make it about themselves. I don't want segways and followups and back and forths in this particular setting. Lebron hasn't done interviews like this probably ever. I found it very refreshing, and most who have commented on this seem to agree. You are the one who is the outlier here. Your username is very apt to describe you and your comment.

      MJ was a scoring champion for 10 seasons!! A whole decade of dominating the offensive end. He had 7 years in a row winning the scoring title and then another three years in a row with six of his ten scoring titles resulting in Championships! Remember this was in the space of a 15 year career. In 13 years, LeBron has won the scoring title once.
      MJ was playing in an era that was much tougher and nastier. This current era is much more ticky tack than previous eras. Players are sent to the line for hand checks that weren't even given a second glance in MJ's era.
      Despite LeBron's defensive capabilities, MJ has a defensive player of the year award and LeBron doesn't. (Which is an award LeBron could win very soon).
      For the seasons that both players have been nominated for all team honours, LeBron has been in three non First Team selections and MJ has only been in one.
      MJ is a three time steals leader, LeBron has yet to win that accolade.
      In 15 seasons MJ was a 9 time all defensive first team selection, in 13 seasons LeBron is a 5 time all defensive first team selection.
      LeBron has 4 MVPs in 13 seasons, MJ has 5 in 15 seasons. LeBron is on track to equal and maybe even pass MJ in MVPs.
      LeBron in 13 seasons has 3 rings, Michael in 15 seasons has 6.
      To me LeBron has had one of a hell career, and is still continuing in his quest for more glory. But as of this moment? With everything that has been achieved by both players? Michael is still the GOAT in my eyes. His body of work for just 15 seasons is remarkable. LeBron is 13 seasons in and has A LOT of catching up to do in comparison to MJ, not just in the rings department, but in many other facets of the game as well. Call LeBron the greatest right now by all means. Just don't call him the greatest over Jordan.

    LBJ said something very powerful: some people are "born" with it and some people "learn" how to be a leader!Imo im thinking he feels he is a better leader now than a follower.remembering Dwade practically had to force LBJ to lead the heat, but with that experience and his other endeavors to date he has learned to be comfortable in a leadership pos.and looks confidant now leading the young CAVS team.

      MJ: He has the greatest highlights ever and clutch moments, so does Kobe, more skilled scorers, combine that with 5 rings and 6 rings on greater teams added to their legacy (MJ 5 MVPs as an athlete ahead of his Era, just like Kareem/Wilt) you get adoration by fans and media. LeBron is being short changed because he's big, imposing, more athletic with much more physical advantages on the court yet less swagger & grace to his game. He pretty much came out of the womb expected to be better than Jordan b/c of these gifts. BUT neither MJ or Kobe present the floor game LBJ does for their team and to counter other teams. Only Magic comes close. LeBron most definitely the GOAT, MJ is an overrated stylish guy and just an athlete ahead of his time. LeBron is a monster who was created in a lab. MJ fans can suck a dick.

    people call ali the greatest not just because of his ability bit because of the impact off the court or ring.
    Ali had losses but is still the greatest yet people say that because LeBron has lost he can never be. pure emotional irrational logic. LeBron not only makes everybody on the court better but everybody connected to him gain prosperity in multiple ways.
    Ali may have given people pride but LeBron gave people opportunities and continues to do so.
    Jordan was 6 for 6 in nba finals with 6 mvps and a career stat line that stands the test of time. until LeBron retires it's a pointless debate but what cannot be denied is that LeBron is shaping futures and Jordan is selling sneakers. if we elevate ali over Joe Louis due to a combination of success and humanitarianism then why does that metric not apply to LeBron over Jordan.
    when he retires I think folks will speak in such terms but even being number 2 behind Jordan is no shame at all.

      Ali is clear better than Joe Louis. he changed boxing with his defensive style and speed. and lateral movement.dont talk boxing if you don't know facts. stick to ball

    • @dicedavis84
      @dicedavis84 8 років тому

      iijdgaf lol thank you for your emotional irrational logic.
      If you think lebron just does the same as every other player then you are the one who clearly needs to do research.
      Ali put his life on the line so he didn't have to put his life on the line. Let that sink in.
      His options were to go to war and potentially die or stay home and go jail so tell me again how he put his life on the line. His life was more in danger when he fought frazier and foreman.
      The fact you can't see beyond you irrational emotional logic is proof that you are the sheep and miss the point completely.

    The block on Iggy was Batman-esque, no question. But give JR a lil credit for not doing something stupid like fouling and letting AI off the hook which would've messed up LeBron's superhuman play. And probably would've changed the entire landscape of the game to who knows what. It was just our destiny. Nothing could help them.

    • @omieg89
      @omieg89 8 років тому +2

      On the UNINTERRUPTED podcast he gives JR credit. He said that he tells all the guards on the team that anytime they're in transition defense and they see Lebron running to catch up to not foul the guy with ball but just find a way to change their momentum so that Lebron can catch up and try to get the swat.

      for real JR proved to the world he is a legitimate starter, defender in playoffs ball. maybe a few dry spells from three. but mostly i think Lebrons belief in him in the clutch proved to himself that he is what he thinks he is. an amazing sniper with more swagger and personality then most of the nba. ✌️

    As a Warriors fan, I gotta say that this guy is incredible. I'm not going to discuss whether Curry is or isn't currently better than him, but LeBron deserves respect. Being able to achieve true greatness and still being nice and humble, that's so hard these days. I mean, in other sports, the only GOAT that stood humble that comes to my mind right now is Messi. Besides him and Bron, most of the true greats are convinced that they're better than the rest of the human race. I'm really glad to be born just in time to see what he's been doing for the game of basketball. Definetely one of the guys that I truly admire.
