That’s a great tip! I haven’t purchased any LV fragrances yet because they are so much pricier than other fragrances that I wear and love. This, however, is a game changer.

Hi, your explanation on 40% off sound legit at first but then I realized that refill 100ml for $165 and 200 ml for $330 (literally double everything, nothing saving/loosing here). However, 200ml new bottle for $390, which is 100ml/$195 compare to $265 new 100ml bottle. So the smaller bottle is more expensive that make you feel the refill price for it is cheaper. So if someone wear perfume regularly, the 200ml will save them $70 or $140 whatever 😂
When I purchased my bottle of Cactus Garden, they gave me a sample of Afternoon Swim. I fell in love with it so I think it’s next on my list once I get low on my Cactus Garden.
I believe they can only refill the perfume of what you originally purchased for

I got tons of samples from LV last week. They didn’t give me a receipt or any paperwork for the bag I purchased because of covid. So strange 🤷♀️
Some SAs are very generous with samples, which is a great way to try out new fragrances! If they didn’t provide a paper receipt you should be able to have a receipt emailed to you if you call client services 🤗
We aren’t LV on the same page.. it’s like the SA don’t know what the heck is going on. She had to ask her manager only to be told “ yes we are doing that” thank goodness you told her. All stores should be on the same pages.

Wow I cannot believe that perfume sample sellers ARENT just emptying their current LV bottles and buying the refills at the discounted price (maybe they are!!).
your mileage may vary because of inconsistent poor staff training. the policy is the same, but the staff you are working with might not know it. in case they are new or clueless, politely ask them to confirm with their managers.
I don't quite understand the amazing discount here? You are still getting exactly the same volume in an identical bottle for the same price.

I guess it is great deal if your old bottle is skratched or sometching like that, then you get you "refill" in brand new bottle and you happy lol.

I have the LV Rose De Vents and I love the scent but as soon as I put it on it just disappears. I would love to try Afternoon Swim but I would need to try a sample before purchase. If you like Rose de Vents, you will LOVE Les Sables Roses. Lasts much longer with similar notes!
So interesting ! I wonder if they would refill the mini bottles as well, from the miniature set, since i have 2 of them (woman and men version). I also never spent so much money on perfumes, but LV ones are so perfect, i am in love with every single one of them.

Question: If they give you a new bottle at the discount price, will they still engrave the bottle for you if they are taking away your empty bottle?
If the store is equipped with a working engraving machine then they should definitely be able to engrave your new bottle! The machine at my boutique was down for a while so I waited until it was back up and running before I purchased my refill. Thanks for watching!

My favorite scent is Attrape Reves and Cquoure. I have them both full size. I received a sample of the Afterswim. I didn't really care for it. It is masculine for my liking. I do feel the $250 is well worth for the Attrape Reve. Im use to buying expensive parfumes anyway and value them, from Parfum de Marley to Roja and House of Killian.

they never do that in Europe, you have to bring the empty bottle in and they refill it. The refill and a full bottle have different product codes.

Thierry Mugler usually refills at all counters that sell their fragrances.

Do you just bring your empty bottle in ? I got a gift from my friend. They dont need you to show receipt of your purchase of this right? Cause I dont have it since it is a gift from a friend. THanks.
Please so fully under $ per ml calculation here. In the original price, the large 200 ml bottle $/ml ratios is a a huge difference/better $. Most if not all perfume products are price that way.
The promo mention here as explained the smaller bottle is 60% and large bottle is only 15% have a huge flaw since the were price at diff $/ml ration to start. Bigger number does not mean better since both at refill price came out the same $/ml.
It might be advisable to calculate it yourself to make sure what was introduced is sound. Just as a general advise, to calculate the $/ml ratio yourself. My experience is that even listed info may not always be correct and it wasn’t mentioned here.
However, the refill $/ml ration is not fully relevant to new purchaser of the cologne.
Unless the option was given to switch to the other size when you bring in your empty bottle, I assumed you will be refilling on the bottle size you have.

@@AHeatedMess Yes, 1st time writing on UA-cam. There is no reference to any error in calculation in the video. Just on that your reference on a better deal. Ignoring the more important thing like cash flow etc.
You mentioned it if a better deal to refill the 100ml. That would be true if you did not compare 100ml vs 200ml.
Since you did not mentioned the option to switch bottle size for refill. there is nothing to consider or compare. Even if the option is available it is till off on how you compared the prices one as a better deal over the other due to the initial $ per unit.
What you did not take into consideration.
$265 /100ml = $2.65 per/ml (new bottle)
$165/100 ml = $1.65 per/ml (refill)
$390/200ml = $1.95 per/ml (new bottle)
$330/200ml = $1.65 per/ ml (refill)
If you had purchased a 200ml new bottle, you would have already paid less $ per unit vs if you had purchased the 100ml.
The % discount for 100ml new bottle vs refill is a higher discount vs 200ml new bottle vs refill. Higher % doesn’t mean better esp when it comes to something where you can calculate $ per unit,
If you had only mentioned the % on the 100ml and not do a comparison it would be been fine.

Orage was the very first one I fell in love with. My partner is slowly coming around to it but I love it.
I'm excited for Meteore but tbh when I smell the scents and look at what they have for notes, I rarely get it (I can't pick up the ginger in L'Immensite for example) but yes, the mandarin and vetiver sound like it's gonna be a winner :)

Engraving depends on the location - I called ahead and the machine at my boutique was down so I waited for it be up and running so that they could engrave the new bottle. Also some stores will only engrave 3 characters while other locations can do up to 5 or 6! 🤗 Thanks so much for watching!

Do they refill LV tester bottle?
no only retail bottles. on the bottom if it says "tester not for sale" its non refillable, bottles that are bought full retail wont have that message. If you buy an empty retail bottle, just tell the LV Boutique you got it as a gift
