I'm 2 years late, but thank you for being vulnerable, sharing your stories, and educating us. Never forget.

Thank you so much for sharing your stories. Hearing about the angels and heroes and survivors of that day is the ONLY saving Grace of an otherwise unbearable time. God bless you all.

Wow!!! Thank you all for your stories of encouragement. When 9/11 happened I was 22 with 2 small boys (6months and 2 1/2 years old). I remember all of the news coverage for weeks to come (I am from California). From that moment I realized how important it was to teach my boys that there will be some horrific things in this world, but there is much more good. I would watch the documentaries and tributes every year and my boys would question me why? Why would you watch something that would upset you that much? I told them 1. For respect for all of those lives that were taken that day and 2. To always remember to look for the gleam of light in our time of darkness. Well here we are almost 20 years later and my oldest is now 22 and 4 years in the Army. He has been to some of the countries that housed those responsible for that day. I am scared to death for him but the word proud is not enough. Everyday those that were lost, survivors, heroes, friends and family are in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless you all.

Thank you so much for sharing your stories! I keep learning something from each story told. Often times the smaller details you mention are things that just never occurred to me. One can’t know if one wasn’t there. I can’t even imagine some of these things. The details are important, thank you for preserving history!

I LOVE listening to these people's stories who have this shared experience. Actually, our whole country went through this together wherever we were in the US. Different experiences, but also the same. Mark was right, the human spirit that bonded us is palpable. I'm so glad I came across this today. It reminds me to have faith in mankind. 💗💗💗

Its crazy to think that probably a couple million people have direct experience of being in that area on that day. Just downtown Manhattan alone probably had right around a million people in the vicinity on that morning, who experienced the attack. Just goes to show you that it could happen to anyone at anytime

Thank you EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU for sharing your stories…I needed to hear these…I wanted to hear the human side from people…who were just routinely living their lives…
I wasn’t physically involved in this horrific tragedy…but it still affected me of course as an American…
The take away for me is to live each day as if it were my last and be more compassionate and kind to my fellow neighbors everywhere….
That’s what I try to do each and everyday…again thank you for this upload 🫶🏼

Thank you for your sharing your stories and time with the world. Living in Australia these videos have given me the chance to hear your stories when I probably never would have had the chance.
I still recall where I was hearing and seeing your 'day" (in the US) unfold as I was awake in the middle of the night here. It has not left me and hearing your stories and to be able to be experience a glimpse of what I might be able to.experiemce if I was ever able to visit New York has deeply impacted me.
Again thank you for sharing and for the people who run this channel for allowing a larger audience to be able to have more insight as well as learn from events of that day as well as the ongoing impact it has had and continues to have.
Sending much love from Melbourne, Australia. xx
