Hi there, first you have to cook your meat until it is fully cooked and tender. It might take 1 1/2-2 hours depending on the size and quality of your meat. Second you cover the pot and let it boil on medium until the potatoes are fork tender. You have to mix from time to time and check the potatoes tenderness. You don’t want a mushy potatoes. It may take 20- 30 minutes. Also the amount of the liquid is up to you. We like it on thin side so you may reduce the liquid if you like a thicker stew.
