Is it must to stay at hostel?
Yes, it is a residential campus and all students stay in hostel. But in case if you have any medical issues or any other valid reasons, u will be given permission to be a day scholar
Anna one doubt, can I get admission in any private colleges accepting this score in tamil nadu
Some colleges do mention that they accept JEE scores but not to a great extent. They either conduct their own entrance for their college or you need to apply for TNEA counselling.
@Sakthi Rajan, very useful video. it does not look like your first video.. very professional and clearly articulated. My daughter (OBC NCL) has scored 96.75 %ile in Jee mains. is there a possibility to get CSE or ECE 4 year course? How good is the placement for 5 year courses and 4 year Mech & Smart manufacturing course?
Glad that you liked my video, You have good possibilities of getting ECE, you can also change your branch to CSE after the first semester if you get a good CGPA. The placements in all institutes are quite moderate at this moment because of the recession.

Anna, I recently gave my JEE exam I got enough percentile to get into this college. But my father is telling me to get into VIT instead of IITDM. What is your suggestion anna?
It depends on the branch you get in both the college's. I myself joined VIT ECE first but after josaa counselling i got ECE in IIITDM, so i shifted from VIT to IIITDM.

If u get CSE or ECM go for VIT..
Else for core subs like mech, ECE try opting IITDM
or if u have any entrepreneur dreams then IITDM is ur choice..

Actually with 90 percentile in OBC NCL category it is not possible to get NIT or IIIT. Try JEE Advanced.
Any language problem in iiit kanchipuram
No problem majority are Telugu and Tamil and with others you can manage in English

To be honest, in general category it is very difficult to get any NITs or IIITs with 90 percentile. But still you can apply for Josaa counselling once JEE Advanced is completed. I would recommend you to stay motivated and don't lose hope, start preparing for JEE Advanced. Give it your last try with full efforts. Miracles do happen.

You may have chances. But it depends. So also try to have a backup in case anything goes wrong. Hope for the Best!!

There is no home state quota in IIITs. Home state quota is offered only in NITs. I hope your doubt is clear.
