Sylhet, Bangladesh ➖ After a short flight from Dhaka, I am out exploring Sylhet for the first time! This city was recommended to me by so many people in Bangladesh and is a nice escape from the bustling city of Dhaka. I was blown away by the stunning scenery and bustling streets and I couldn't wait to dive in and start exploring. After walking around the streets and visiting some famous sights, we went to the most famous restaurant in Sylhet called Panch Bhai. Join me for the journey here in Sylhet, Bangladesh!

Sylhet is so much more refreshing compared to Dhaka, especially with all the greenery, rivers and plant life. Love from the UK!
Dhaka is pure trash. I dont get why tourists always go to the busiest and worst places of Puran Dhaka just to see some dilapidated structure of lal bagh ahsan monjil. Rather Bangladesh has much to offer in terms of scenic beauty in sylhet chittagong sundarbans.

My gosh, Luke and Nadir, my brothers; you guys are reviving my memories. I’m a Sylhety, Bangladeshi born, UK resident. Haven’t to Sylhet for a while. You are going through some of streets, I used go through in my childhood, whenever visited Sylhet City, from my village near Beani Bazar. Thank you.
Sylhet is pretty unique in Bangladesh for it’s hilly tea gardens and greenery. Naturally it’s a beautiful region for it’s hills, waterway (hakaluki haor is the largest in Bangladesh), Waterfalls, lakes, historical remains etc.
It is also referred as the Holy City, for the saint Hazrat Shahjalal (R) shrine. Dhaka Bangladesh’s main airport is named after him.
The region is also known as the second London, due to lion-share of the countries residents immigrated to UK during the 1950s onward and settled The region prospered in many respects, due to foreign living Sylheties heavily invested in the infrastructure in the region, on top of government’s input.

As an australian born with bengali parents. Its so good to watch these videos. first time i went to bangladesh i got extremely sick. so my parents often visit Bangladesh without me and my siblings. love to see my parents’ home country whilst sitting at home 😝😝

Sylhet is blessed with hills, waterfalls, swamp forests, rain forests, the tea garden. There are a lot of places to and many things to do in Sylhet. The climate is very good. There is a lot of rain during the rainy season and the waterfalls and lakes look amazing.

Sylhet city isn’t beautiful lol cities in Bd are ultra unplanned and crowded and messed. It’s the villages in Sylhet, which is beautiful, best in Bangladesh. No other division villages are as developed and as green as Sylhet. UK Sylheti invest in the building mansions in villages because it’s serene and nicer and less chaotic like the pathetic cities.

I have said that most of the tourist areas of Sylhet are located outside of the Sylhet city. If you notice, you will see that he blogged only from Lakkatura to Bandar. And did I say anything wrong?🙂 Jaflong, Sadapathar, Hakaluki Haor, Lauachhara National Park, Tea Research Institute, Madhavakunda Water falls, Lalakhal, Ratargul are these located inside the Sylhet city? Bro I suggested to go to areas outside Sylhet city only. That's it.
