Hey thanks for the vid! Came across this while looking at Amwaj Rotana Jumeirah Beach as a possible lets-do-something-grand in 2024. We have an 8 and 5 year old, is this much of a family place and is the area family friendly?
Morning, the hotel is family friendly. There is a smaller splash pool for the little ones and a bigger pool. The area is great for families and really close to the beach. There are lots of activities for the kids and a great water inflatable course, shops and things for kids to do in the JBR area. The hotel will hail a taxi for you or you can order yourself through and app called Kareem. There is so much to do locally like water parks, theme parks etc… but they will need a taxi. On our last trip we had a six, eight, eleven and thirteen year old with us and they had a great time. If you check my hotel room tour video, it shows from the balcony the way to the beach. My brother in law wasn’t sure on Dubai before he went but loved it and had said he will go back.
Hello, yes. Walk past the pool and go down the stairs or lift which takes you to a private exit / entrance accessible via your room key. The beach is about 2/3 mins away.
Hello, the food was really good in the Buffett restaurant. We also Paid extra and did brunch at Easter and that was excellent. Alcoholic drinks were very expensive which I think is quite typical for Dubai.
Thanks for the vid

Are the rooms sound proof from cars / clubs noise at night?
Yes they are. We didn’t hear any noise in the room. Sound proofing was excellent.

Do they have wheelchairs for Hire?
I don’t think they have them to hire but I know they had pushchairs to borrow so might have had some. Best to contact the hotel.
