They would fall into a tier 2 category as you can make some changes on their mid to higher end products. I have a few clients that really like their homes.
They put out a decent home. They usually pop up in small spurts vs massive quantities of homes. I’ve seen them in places like chapel crossings, long lake ranch and triple creek, so they have decent locations
Can you do a Video on how David Weekly frame their houses in Florida? I heard they do a great job better than a lot of other companies and I have seen how they do it in Texas and I was wondering if they do it differently in Florida. Thanks.
Good and informative video. However, based on the title, I thought you were going to actually rank the different builders versus simply plugging them into tiers.
Sorry man… that’s about as close as you can get to ranking them… people have good and bad experiences with builders and what I say based on my personal experience might turn you off from working with a builder when they may actually be an overall good builder. I am going through a tough time (as a realtor) with one of what I would consider to be a top builder from the list… I wouldn’t want to share the experience bc it would turn many off and honestly I still stand by them being a great builder. Just one bad apple at the current moment.
John my family and I are looking to move to the Tampa area. My daughter and I both have chronic diseases, so having great healthcare facilities with awesome healthcare providers is SO important to me. Can you do a video reviewing the various healthcare options in and around the Tampa area? Thank you. Your videos are so helpful. 😃
My wife works for the hospital here! Honestly I can try to cover it in a video, but being a realtor it wouldn’t be a specialty. There are tons of options for healthcare, urgent care and specialists here. Both of my daughters have allergies and see an allergist. Other than knowing the major hospital systems and locations to urgent cares, pediatricians etc, I’m not sure that I would be a good resource for healthcare.
I am from San Diego, CA and we have a few healthcare companies here that have clinics in hospitals throughout San Diego county. We also have one of the best children’s hospitals in the country. The number one ranked healthcare organization is UCSD, with Scripps Health #2, and Sharp #3. We also have quite a few Kaiser Permenente hospitals and clinics in San Diego county. If I were going to share information about the healthcare facilities in San Diego I would share that type of information and were the major hospitals are in my area. I would be less inclined to move to an area where I would have to drive an hour to get to the hospital.

Im looking to retire in Tampa (if I can convince myself I can live with bugs/ants for the rest of my life)😁I looked at a new development in Wesley Chapel built by GL. I loved them so I came home and did some research. They had such bad reviews and complaints at BBB. They stemmed from poor customer service to tile exploding after a year due to bad adhesive...it was scary

I just like the simplicity and has everything I need space wise not too big. These houses are too much for me that you show and I have 2 kids. I like 1500 to 1800 Sq ft something open and roomy but not too much cleaning. The house I have is enough cleaning for me with 2 levels. No basement thank goodness. I have animals too so is more work but really good house 5 years old now. I'd update the floor eventually and paint that's it.

@@TampaFloridaLiving The reality is New Home Construction is a mystery until you agree to buy something. I have contacted multiple "professionals" and no one can answer my one simple question.
When I first started looking to move to Florida, I looked at new construction and fell in love with some DR Horton homes. Having had friends who built their home in Staten Island NY, and long time friends in Canada who have always built their homes from scratch, I was looking more into the reputation of the builder and how things get addressed as there will always be kinks to work out as issues arise. DR Horton had one of the worst BBB scores of anybody. It spooked me enough to ignore the desire for a newly constructed home in favour of looking for older construction. I'm happy I did. I finally bought a home in Wesley Chapel that was built in 2004. I move Monday to my new home. I'm very happy with my choice even tho the idea of a brand-new home was ideal, I'm tired of battling for everything to get corrected. Had enough of that here in MA. I'm not sure if the issues are due to the demand for new homes, and they can't keep up or if this is how they always were, but I’m very happy I didn't go with new construction. Especially from that builder.
Why the lottery for GL homes is so crazy. They release 14 lots and take over 100 names into their lottery. And they all have to put a deposit of 5k so everyone should be pretty serious. It’s so disheartening

Quick question, lennar in Lutz vs pulte in land o lake vs MI in Wesley chapel. Which you choose?

Where would KB homes fit on this list? They do allow a decent amount of customization.
They would be considered a tier 1 builder mostly prob starting to get i to a tier 2.

They would fall into a tier 2 category as you can make some changes on their mid to higher end products. I have a few clients that really like their homes.
How do you feel about Mattamy homes? I do see their listings on zillow around Lutz and Wesley chapel, but not on the list you presented here.
