The minute Egal shamelessly moved the goalposts from 'if Slot finishes above Arteta then Arteta should be sacked to 'I've changed my mind because....Salah' then his opinions on anything Arsenal immediately become irrelevant and should be ignored. Because it shows he doesn't actually mean anything he says...he only says what works in that moment.

Got rid of Golden Boot Aubamayang for Willian/Jesus/Havertz 😂 all flopped.
Isolated the best LB at the club (Kieran Tierney) tried to replace him with Zinchenko/ Calafiori who both aren't even as good as MLS. Every signing has been to fix his own bad signings.
Sold ESR (a natural cover for Odegaard) for peanuts and then sold Saka's backup Reiss Nelson but got lucky Nwaneri was already at the club.

The fact that Ancelloti did what he did at Everton with little resources just shows Arteta is just not good enough. Arsenal have hired two managers before the guy that is really meant to be the manager at the Emirates that is waiting for the owners to get some nuts and do the necessary to sign him.
