You had a great time in Vietnam with your family its always good to see family. I hope the flowers she gave you grow well they will look great in your flower garden . the food all looked good i did not know there was much difference in bamboo shoots or palm heart the only bamboo shoots i have had are caned and prety much bland and ive had palm heart twice and it was sweet both times but that was in central America and i have no idea what kind of palm's they grow i really like when you take us along on your trips i wish you good luck happienes and health
In my relatives hometown they have different stuffs from us depending on the unique of the area! The food in the village I visited are a little strange for me but delicious as their way!

@@ThydaCookingTV yes i believe i understand what you are saying i have had some new and interesting flavors sense i have been trying to learn to cook some of the foods from Cambodia and Vietnam some things i had tasted nearly 50 years ago and some nearly 40 years ago but i had never tride using many of the things you use daily like fish sauce and fish paste or tamarind but it all part of the adventure of life one day i would like to visit both countries and see if i am even close to what the food should tast like i have fun trying though and have been eating some interesting things
