Holy shit yeah, @ 2.30, WOW!!! Cry is one my absolute fav's off the new record. Fingers crossed so tightly that everyone who downloaded the leak will head out and buy the album in March, it deserves to be at the top of EVERY chart. I know I'm getting three copies at least :D
Wow, Kelly sounds amazing! OK, and I am pretty sure that Kelly would have no problem singing this song in the higher key that she recorded it in if she wanted to. Did you take into consideration that she is doing a lot of promo, first over in Europe, and then back in the States. This means a lot of interviews and a lot of performances. She is just taking care of her voice to ensure that it endures the many weeks of promo, which is just smart.
I noticed that she is singing a note or two under as well. Maybe she is tired and knows not to push or voice when it isn't necessary. High or low her voice and vocal abilities are still amazing. All he fans know what she is capable of she's not doing a Mariah( no offense to Mariah fans).
Oh I thought the original was F#5 whatever haha. Yeah... I don't know, to me it seems like she has lost her upper register. It doesn't sound as high as it used to be and now when she sings it, it sounds harder for her and also just plain deeper.
I'm scared that since Kelly's been singing those hight notes thru these years she could lose her voice or sth, I kno shes perfectly well trainned but Im just saying I would die if she stopped singing! so I dont blame her on lowering the key, I mean just take a look on how many interviews n performances shes been doin these days. its hard to keep her voice healthy. I totally agree this MUST be a single! Tho they said the next will be IF I CANT HAVE YOU which I personally dont like as much as CRY
Yeah, she was freakin' sweet during 2W2V but when she just came back recently all the performances for life MLWSWY sound not very good. She sounds like really tired and also like she's pushing.. so.. Idk... But I really hope not 'cuz that's one of the reasons I love the woman, her upper register... So I hope she is not losing it.
