63) और याद करो जब हमने इस हाल में कि तूर पर्वत को तुम्हारे ऊपर ऊँचा कर रखा था, तुमसे दृढ़ वचन लिया था, "जो चीज़ हमने तुम्हें दी है उसे मज़बूती के साथ पकड़ो और जो कुछ उसमें है उसे याद रखो ताकि तुम बच सको।"
64) फिर इसके पश्चात भी तुम फिर गए, तो यदि अल्लाह की कृपा और उसकी दयालुता तुम पर न होती तो तुम घाटे में पड़ गए होते।
65) और तुम उन लोगों को तो जानते ही हो जिन्होंने तुममें से 'सब्त' के दिन के मामले में मर्यादा का उल्लंघन किया था, तो हमने उनसे कह दिया, "बन्दर हो जाओ, धिक्कारे और फिटकारे हुए!"
66) फिर हमने इसे सामनेवालों और बाद के लोगों के लिए शिक्षा-सामग्री और डर रखनेवालों के लिए नसीहत बनाकर छोड़ा।
