Old buses sound much better and purposeful than the tirade of Volvos we have today. The first buses round Leeds sound horrinle, though the fans make a lot of the noise.
The leyland leopard did not have a V8 engine it is a 6 cylinder 11.1 Leyland engine also known a the Leyland 680 which was a mid underslung engine and was a very good reliable engine
Love the old Plaxton Supreme body and dash layout, they truly were the best Coach Body builders back in the day

I do love these vehicles to be fair, even thought I didn't grow up with them, I still appreciate them quite much!
