75% of this video is just a list of the reasons why I love this movie.
How much you love the movie is inversely proportional to how seriously you take it, and this channel is all about taking every detail of a movie too seriously.
ImaNerdANDaGeek yea usually it’s for shits and giggles, he even says they are assholes. tho he has torn up some movies that deserved bad criticism which is fun to watch.
The remaining 25% are the real life facts that Jeremy gets wrong.
Easy examples:
While Kuzco calls it a chimp, it clearly has a tail. It’s a monkey, which are in Peru (check your Nazca lines if you think they might have been a European import like the horse).
That squirrel tells Kronk those felines are Jaguars, not Panthers. Still a solitary animal, but the point remains. And when he tries to fix it later, he says more.
“Why doesn’t he want to do CPR?” “Answers it during a scene right before it says it.”

I think there should be a little credit given to the scene where Yzma pours the poison into the cactus and the cactus turns llama shaped.
They missed a whole lot of wins on this one. I personally gave this video thumbs down - it was lazy even by their standards.
Also, I don't think it's the least bit of funny to judge nonsensical cartoons stuffed full of meta jokes in the same manner you judge a shitty movie that takes itself seriously, like RIPD.

Although the "character acts scandalized about the idea of damage to wood because the wood is mahogany" might be a cliche, I can think of at least three different movies (this one, Hunger Games, and Frozen) that have it.

And like the strait to dvd sequels phase it's pass hopefully. My point is it's impossible for Disney to not make at least one bad movie (though I personally thought this movie was good as a kid)

The angel and devil Kronks are my favorite part of the whole move. The angel saying “no, no... he’s got a point” to the devil doing a handstand is GENIUS 😂
“How does he narrate as a llama when he gets un-llama’d” he starts the narration during his breakdown in the rain when he is most definitely still a llama, and when he’s still an asshole. The narration is catch-up for how he got there, after that point in the rain, there’s no more narration cause he’s experiencing everything live rather than telling it to us

That line at first seems random, especially with Yzma's completely sincere tone, until you remember that cows are female. So he just had a sex-change "operation" and is now a her. Makes more sense when you look at it that way.

As a Peruvian myself I can say that the llama sin is the dumbest sin in this video the llamas were important animals for the Inca's culture so they were more likely to represent them in a lot of stuff

The reason a lot of his stuff is llama themed is because he’s an Incan emperor and a large part of Incan culture was sacrificing lots of llamas.

Woah..... I think this is the only CinemaSins video I have actively disagreed with. For me, this movie gets better and more hilarious with age

This is like sinning a comedy routine because the jokes are intentionally ridiculous.
Such as when Kuzco wonders how Yzma and Kronk got back to the lab before him and Pacha, Kronk pulls down the map but still doesn’t understand and decides it’s not important

I wouldn't call it underrated tbh. It's one of the most memed and quoted Disney movies I've seen, and even had a sequel and spin-off series.
Underrated would be Atlantis: The Lost Empire, which is fine as an adventure movie but wasn't "Disney" enough for their core audience. Despite the movie being quite an enjoyable watch, at least imho!

Still a jewel and definitely one of the best "funny" cartoons Disney has ever done. Although I'd have loved to see their original, serious take of it, "Kingdom of the Sun", the revised version - the version we got - is still phenomenal as far as Disney comedy goes. < 3)
Kuzco and Yzma are definitely memorable, but the rest is kinda forgettable.
Like, whenever I rewatch this I always forget the bit with Pacha's family.

1:21 Just now realizing this, but for once Disney did something right. Kuzco has to select a bride & they DIDN'T force some "he finds love with a peasant girl & shakes his morals" but instead creates a friendship route which almost never happens now! There is ALWAYS a romance sub plot nowadays

Yzma’s plan, and Kronk’s shoulder morality dudes are legit my favorite parts of a truly awesome movie! Especially at the part when Yzma insults Kronk’s spinach puffs and the shoulder angel says “from above the wicked shall receive their just desserts” Than all three of them simultaneously look up at the chandelier and say “That’ll Work” before trying to drop the chandelier on Yzma!
