Y'all ever been in a store, get like $5 worth of snacks, and when you get to the register the cashier "checks" your money, but didn't check the white person in front of you who had like $30
I am black, but look Latino (my grandmother is white). When my friend and I from high school were about 19, we were at a bodega. While waiting on line, a customer walked up to where we were standing and asked the cashier if he sells magazines. As soon as my friend and I left, he was in a bad mood and said, “Did you see what just happened? That customer was actually an employee. He was pretending to browse in an effort to racially profile on the d/l.” I told him that I didn’t even notice. He said, “Of course you didn’t, because you don’t look black. So the ‘customer’ was only following ME.” 🤷♂️

What should have happened at the same time while the boss gets busted, a customer of the same race as the boss gets caught stealing from the store so that the boss could look dumb learning the hard way that shoplifters/thieves could be of any race. Working in retail for over 2 decades, I have seen it all.
To answer your logic, this episode aired in 1998. Despite that, racial profiling has been in existence since the beginning of time, which doesn't make it a rarity @herooflight7931
This episode takes a bit of an ironic air these days as now people regularly go into stores, grab whatever they can get their hands on and run out the door, and sadly most of them are black.
The nerve of people who is like her. The profiling in the retail and hotel industry is just nauseating smh
I agree.
Miss hendra should've been arrested for violating company policy and discrimination at workplace
@@meganpham8158 You can't be arrested for violating a company policy or discrimination.

If you're going to engage in this manner, you should, at least know what the Head of your company looks like.
The thing is the heads on companies rarely enter there stores. That's why there are problems that never get addressed.
