Howdy, Sylvia! What a brilliant cozy fall idea for a notebook cover. Love that sock... I don't think I could have cut it up unless it had a hole in it! I've been saving the tops of socks when they get a hole in the heel... but I sure wish I had saved the toes! I adore those mushrooms! I just have to make one! Socks... beware... I'm coming for you! these socks are beautiful but so uncomfortable to wear !!! then it was time to recycle them instead of being stuck in my cupboard. i love making mushrooms with the bottom of them, they're so much fun to make and embellish ! i could spend hours making them when i was a kiddo. Come here and we're gonna make tons of mushrooms together ;) thank you for you nice words Patty 💕
Oh I absolutely adore you’re poetry note book cover. I didn’t know how to make a toadstool from a sock wow looks so effective. Love the lining such a good finishing touch. You’re note book is going to be all warm and cosy on its trips out and about now.

that's funny : i bought these socks when i was in upstate NY visiting a state park and i love the colors but they never fit me well. Hope you will make a book cover with yours ;) i do remember the blue ones as i wanted to buy them ! have fun creating my friend !

Mais où vas-tu chercher toutes ces idées? Tu ne t'arrêtes plus!! J'adore le champignon!! Génial! Mais la prochaine fois, quand tu utilises du tissu stretch comme ta chaussette, mets ta machine sur point zigzag, tu auras un bien meilleur résultat! Bisous bisous!!
c'était amusant de refaire des champignons chaussettes comme je le faisais étant gamine !! bizarement j'avais pas envie de point zigzag sur la couv ! merci pour le conseil ;) je vais faire des modifications sur cette couverture, j'étais un peu dans le rush mdr bisous ma belle 💖
