Or, it may also cause the players to trust each other more under the basis of "they could have killed me but didn't", potentially making the game harder as impostors don't want crewmates to trust each other.
Also for #7, the strat is doomed if there are multiple people, or if they somehow decide to take the lower path. Also, do not kill on cams.
For #8, stack killing is a good strategy, but in my recent games I have discovered smart players watching the stack to see if anyone moves during the kill.
All strategies using vents can really easily be doomed if there is a sneaky engineer hiding inside it.
#7 is a last resort, I’m not suggesting that people should kill on cams. #8 works most of the time, if not all the time. And the venting tips are best used with no engineer(s) in the lobby, but still work fine, they’re just a little riskier.
@@RRlix Yeah I can understand #7, but lots of people already know about it so it is kinda harder to pull off nowadays.
Just turn off roles in the lobby. Ever since the engineer, shapeshifter, guardian angel, and phantom roles were added, I only hated the game since. The scientist role is okay though.
Very good tips! Another one I recommend is when you are a shape shifter disguise into someone and kill someone with another Crewmate blaming the real person and it was actually you

@@alexandraestre1731 he explained a common tactic that is used in among us quite frequently, using shapeshifter role. when you're shapeshifter, frame someone else 🤣
i mean what else are you meant to do with shapeshifter role, shapeshift into someone and just say "yo crewmates, how's it going?"

heres a shape shifter tip: close the door on someone in the security room watching the camera. makes sure thats the only person in the security room. than vent away some where hidden and shape shift to the person in the security room. from there, go to med bay and fake a scan. if someone is around you, they are likely to follow u to see if u do the task. of course, you dont do the task, and now the person that saw u fake the task will call a meeting and get everyone to vote out the person you shape shifted into. when the meeting is called, don’t say a word. thats a way u can eliminate someone with zero suspicion
I'm an extremely good crewmate who got alot of impostors out. But, sucks as an impostor. So, that will be really helpful!

I have a strategy for shapeshifters (1 eng works best with this). When someone asks to be cleared with vc (they have to say the location ofc) and an engineer says they will clear them, go to that location, hop in the vent, and when you see them there, vent quickly out to a near location shapeshift into someone who isn’t there (make sure not to get caught) and vent back into that location. Stay in the vent until you get popped out by the vc person. I recommend running away after so they know you’re trying to hide it. Then they will sus you out probably. They will think an imp (being you) was in the vent and while the vc happened they popped out. Of course the person you ssed into can’t be cleared.
I wouldnt fake trash though. A veteran crewmate may notice thay and ask you if you have it, making you screwed either way. All in all, great video for those wanting to be a better imp!
Yup!!! Or any visual task in general. I prefer lobbies with visual tasks off, though
I learned:
1. Use admin, shelds and nav vents to hide bodys.
2. 3 crewmates in a room, use lights to kill.
3. Kill ok cams, close cam door and kill on there path if kill count down 15ish secs.
4. Kill on stack by getting behind others and dont move.
5. Fake download (9 sec), gas tank (5 sec), wires (6 sec) and trash (5 sec) tasks (do sabotages then).
6. If tash bar almost completed sabotage communication.
7. Use vents in beginning to locate targets and keep kill cooldown from freezing.
8. Ss into cleared crewmates.
9. After kill close door and wait outside for others and self report.
For #8 I did it yesterday in a match and8 failed miserably turns out me and my imposter buddy both tried it we got a double kill and we had to frame yellow and black and I don't know how we won the game after that lol

You are SOL if multiple people know you are the imposter.

@GameTube587 means nothing you can do. Once multiple people know you are the imposter it's a matter of them getting to the emergency button. The tip suggests attempting to kill them before they can reach the button.
Ultimately once multiple people know for sure you are the imposter you are in deep trouble.

When doing the Stabilize Steering task, stand below the chair istead of above it so your body doesn't get hidden.

For #3 never kill in a corner or near a wall. Sometimes, there is a glitch where players can see thru a wall and catch you
And stack kills don't work on experienced players

@@RRlix Definitely appreciated the tip on venting from Medbay to Security to check whether someone is watching the cams, I have been caught out countless times because someone was in security
Had to pull out the "I'm Engineer!" tactic but then they ask "What's the vent cooldown"
It's quite hard to ignore questions like that when everyone is asking you it and you literally can't have a conversation to anyone else 😂
It is generally easier to fake long tasks, as they don't immediately update the task bar.

No because their screen will be covered with a task or their screen will have limited visibility because of the lights sabotage. Maybe rewatch the tips/tricks you were confused about :)
In theory the task will be in the way presuming they aren't playing mind games. Not to mention engineers can now vent.

You can sabotage reactor,light,coms or o2 and also close doors by tapping them at same time or firstly closing door then rector instantly
