I'm Team Abi as well, but I'm not sure she wins this. If you parse the 'Top Three' vote, Abi picks up very little from either Tristan's or Emmy's support. Most of that will split three ways: Will gets most of the Tristan vote, Jack gets most of the Emmy vote, and some just get mad and stay home because their favorite didn't get sent through. Do any of you see Tristan's fan base flipping their support to Abi?
Ryan has been telling us all season long how 'close' the vote is. If this is true, and if Jack and Will both get an infusion of fresh votes at the end, then how does Abi win? Only if she had a substantial lead in the first place.
Which may be the case. Maybe what Ryan meant was, the vote was close between second and third place...
@@lawrenceshipp2853. You are right about the “Country Music People” congealing around Will Moseley. The non-country fan base will have to actively support Abi with their votes for her to win. BTW, Ryan Seacrest will always say that the voting is close to keep things interesting.

Abi’s parents got divorced. Abi had to drop out of school and work full time to support the family while her Mom went to college. The story is sad enough, but she hasn’t been milking it for votes because Abi can Actually Sing.
They all have sob stories.

She knows how to put on a show. Costume, vocals, drama, check. She sounds amazing on every melody, picks songs that have amazing moments or creates them in the arrangement. Best vocals of the night, so far. Great! - So You Wanna Be A Singer
Arrangement was terrible, Chris changed the chord progression during the verses and it was awful, Abi sounded good anyway...why in the world do you mess with THIS song...
Listen to the wind blow, opening chord is correct, the next 2 are altered, ruined the song...Abi held it together and shined anyway
I know right? And they don't even credit Fleetwood Mac? Abi's got a great voice, but I think she would have had more bigger and special moments with an arrangement more like original Stevie Nicks. Abi did a great job with what she had. I enjoyed her performance!

Her last 6 performances have been next next next level...Grammy level...I've never seen that kind of dominance... it doesn't seem like she is in the competition...it's like we are at her concert.

Singing a song and tearing into a song are two different things. I don't believe that any of these contestants can tear into a song like Beth Hart can. If it was 1993 and they were put up against Beth Hart on Star Search, they would lose. Beth hart isn't the only one that can tear into a song, but she does have the most body of work where she has.

@@orlock20 You have a very narrow view. This isn't the Beth Hart show. It's American Idol - a talent show to help new artists emerge onto the music scene. You can't compare Hart, a 52 year old woman who's been in the business a long time, and has many years of honing her craft under her belt, to a young girl who is just getting started with her music career. Check back in 10 years and I bet Abi Carter will be a more seasoned performer. She's already shown tremendous growth and potential in a few short weeks since her audition and has risen to every challenge they've given her. Beth had to start somewhere in the beginning. Give the kid a break... Abi is FANTASTIC and mega talented in her own right.
@@JennyCeleste Beth Hart was on Star Search in 1993 where she won her category with the most perfect scores of any contest on that show up to that point. I'm comparing Beth Hart the early 20-somthing Star Search contestant.
She finally has her confidence. This was the missing puzzle peice just have fun. Shes the winner 🏆
She is the first contestant in a very long time i've seen on AI that I think will rise to the same level as Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson, ect.
The entire package! Pure talent, stage presence, a voice that can sing anything, confidence for miles, beauty outside and from the clip would appear inside as well! The next American Idol sings like a winner every time!
Abi is in it for the win! She really has an Amazing Stage presence as well as a powerhouse voice. Now that some of her equals have been eliminated she is the best out of the girls. She looks beautiful and confident as well. You can tell she has been doing this a longtime and she has been so supportive of her contemporaries. She deserves it if she wins.

The Top 3 we go. Win or lose next week, Abi will get a record deal NO doubt. So HAPPY for Abi, her family, close friends and the fans of Indio and Palm Springs that have supported Abi's career. Making it into the Top 3 gives her the hometown visit, and concert this Tuesday. There will be so MANY people there attending, THOUSANDS 🤯So WISH I lived in California or a near by state, cause I'd go for sure. UNFORTUNATELY I live in St. Louis, Mo. Guess I will have to wait patiently for Abis first tour. The first EVER time I will see an American Idol singer live. I'd pay over $100 to see her live. Im tempted to vote for Abi even though she isn’t my “favorite” in the top 3, but she is imo by far the best. I think Will might find the most success just because odds say country is always in demand but she is super unique and skilled.
