Hey, thanks for the great review👍 the Number 1 problem now is yes i'm constantly exiting Logic by pressing that big back arrow button in the top left of the screen by accident and then having to restart the project again -frustrating!
Logic Remote support. To control Logic Pro X for iPad using another iPad or iPhone. Even if it means just for transport control and key commands, plus mixer etc.
Things like been able to drag in multiple audio files into Logic from the Files app would be amazing. Yes, the Logic Browser and Files integration would be very welcomed! And things like region clip gain automation, silence removal, cut at cursor, any many more. But.. LOGIC PRO KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS!!!! How can I not use basic Logic shortcuts on my iPad?! 😢
Biggest gap in performance for me is the disappointing lack of roundtrip stability between iPadOS and macOS files. Something created on iPadOS Logic Pro using plugins and synths (as long as you have all of those same plugins on desktop) should open with all settings and patches intact. This does not happen today.
I think we might start seeing Plug-in Vendors commit to this translation between their desktop AU and AUv3 version for round-trip stability. The benefits are enormous.
Being able to Save As would be glorious…. I record my Roland E-Drums into Logic IPad via usb midi. It’s been disappointing that I can’t export a midi file of my performance. Audio export only. Also, unless I missed this in the manual…. Multitracking my E-Drums so that every drum is separated to it’s own track would be perfect for post production editing. (Anyone know a work around Lol?) Maybe we’ll see this in a future update. Great video! Thanks!
Is there any way to add bars in a different meter in front of an already started project? For example, I would like to add an intro to a song without having to slide everything to the right and having to change all the meter changes of my project…
@@TheLogicProGuide I figured as much… thanks for specifying. And yet I can use Bias FX2 with GB via Audiobus, I thought (in my ignorance) that an app had to be in AuV3 format to be able to do that?
You can’t yet.. But you can copy a Channel Strip from another project on the iPad. Save them into a Logic Pro (Package) on your desktop > send the Logic Pro Package file to your iPad > when you open the file on your iPad from the mixer or new plug-in “bay” tap the bottom of the channel or hit the 3 lil dots on the right (•••) > you will find “Copy Channel Strip Settings”. You will be able to close that file/project and paste these settings into another project (long but works lol)
The only one of these things I could do without is Flex Pitch. Flex Pitch is nearly useless for realistic vocals imo and I’m hoping it gets completely overhauled before being added to iPad. But if I was doing a different kind of music and making use of it, I could definitely see being frustrated without.
This guy is CRIMINALLY underrated

It’s small but I’d like a track protect switch as I keep accidentally changing things in my songs as I scroll around the view 😊
I’ll add one, the on screen keys (and piano roll) not visually playing back the recorded performance

I haven't found a way to hide tracks in Logic for the iPad. Searching around indicates there isn't one!

A lot of developers have different plugins in different formats on desktop and iOS unfortunately. Not a Logic issue per sé.

Driving me crazy no “studio” woodwinds (no flutes, oboes, clarinets, bassoons). Other important instruments missing too (French Horns, Tubas, etc…)
FLEXXXX PITCHHHH
Lack of headphone plug causes problems because of the time delay when using Bluetooth headphones.
Appreciate the shoutout!
Ha, no worries!
You also can’t reverse if you stretch a track
Apple needs to add flex pitch, so the vocals can be turned into harmony and pitch correction.

You can export midi now in the export tab.
@@MFKNJUAN Oh nice! I’m going to check that out tonight. Thx!
When are Apple gonna add the ability to follow core changes with the loops.
If they add Dolby atmos in Logic Pro on iPad that would be pretty sick!

Lack of compatibility between Positive Grid and Amplitube amp sims and Logic Pro IoS (they don’t show up on the list of external plugins)
Positive Grid and some Amplitube Apps STILL haven’t been updated to the AUv3 format. That’s the fault of the developers in question, not Apple.

@@matteonapolitano7220 GarageBand still supports Inter App Audio which is why you can use Bias with it.
Last thing, I prefer the drum piano roll editor on GarageBand rather than using a piano roll for drums
I’ve hit that back button too many times 😑
Me too
No arrangements 😢 just markers 😮
how I can docomposit from voice from some tracks in a folder?????
Hi, Is it possible to load Ozone 11on Logic Pro iPad?, how to do it?, thank you, ;-)
I've got me vocal presets but how can I have them downloaded on Logic pro ipad? I'd appreciate your help
