Point counting of sedimentary rocks

This video provides a brief overview on point-counting techniques for sedimentary rocks, including the Fleet method, ribbon and line counting as well as the difference between the Gazzi-Dickinson and the "Indiana" pointing methods.
This teaching video was realized at the Technical University of Darmstadt (Germany), Department of Materials and Earth Sciences, Institute of Applied Geosciences, Working Group of Applied Sedimentary Geology.
