Manu national park spans the entire range of habitats on the eastern slope of the Andes from 4000 m, to the Amazonian lowlands at 200 m elevation. The great altitudinal range and the consequent variety of forest types it encompasses explain its outstanding biodiversity and wildlife.
The park is home to spectacular species like, Jaguar, Macaws, Arpy eagles, Cock of the rock threatened species including the Andean bear and Giant river otters and many more including 8 species of cats, 3 species of dogs 13 species of monkeys, 27 species of parrots, 57 species of raptors , 66 hummingbirds and more than 90 species of tanagers. many new species including mammals, birds, amphibians, plants, butterflies, and dragonflies have been described from Manu and many more undoubtedly await discover.

the nacional park is very intresting why there is many kind of variety willife
I could spend hours looking at all the small details there. My wife wouldn't like it because of the bugs but I think I can convince her to spend a couple of days there. Either Manu or El Pantanal. I heard it's easier to spot Jaguars over there because there aren't as many tall trees. In any case, Peru is beautiful. I still remember the Manu documental when I was a child. I forgot the guy's name, something Guerrero I think. Looking for the Gallito de las Rocas, the national bird.
