when I installed an unlocked PCM on the Scat Pack I removed both bolts on passenger side cross support and loosen the bolts on the drivers side allowing to rotate the support forward. It made it much easier to remove the PCM. I know what you mean about slowing the car down, I recently competed in the Hemi Shootout at the Atlanta NMCA event. My car runs about 11.5 so I figured no way I could compete in the 11 second class. I was fortunate to average 12.04 for 4 runs to win the 12 second class. It really was fun but I like going a fast as possible better. Looking forward to your Hellcat mods.
The factory bootloader uses RSA encryption. Unlocking is a bootloader modification. No hardware is modified or removed. The unlock is usually specific to the tuner software to be used. For example, a DiabloSport unlock won't work with HPtuners.
Curious if you know if there is a table for the shifter? I changed my shift Knob in my A8 to a Barton one... I did everything in the instructions and get the service shifter pop up on the dash
I would like to see a video about the diagnostic capabilities of H.P. tuners. Also does hp tuners come with canned performance tunes? Or does it require custom tunes? I am debating between hp tuner or diablo.
No canned tunes with HPT, but since you get the full software package you can tweak small things on your own. HPT has an online forum to ask questions as well. I would highly recommend HPT.
this button is for safety reasons i suppose. sometiems when you hit something or you hit some huge hole in the road the engine will stop. and this is some safety catch which cut off the power. So sometimes when your car after hitting a hole will turn off and will not start check this safety catch first. :). Every car has something like this.

That's a good question. Best way I'd know is to download the tune that's in it and try to re-upload. If it writes it's unlocked. If you get a write error, it's locked.
@@SpeedysGarage Good to know, as I've heard a lot of good things about Diablo, & not much about HP. Meaning I haven't really heard anything about HP, except what I got from one retail shop that is predominantly GM, not Mopar. I'll take your word Speedy, as you haven't led my astray yet!

That doesn't make sense, since I have a 2015 with a manual transmission. Therefore remote start is not an option, yet I have that same button/switch.

If you take the strut tower brace off they come out easy. Just 4 bolts and 4 clips. Rubber grommet on windsheild wiper.

Speedy keep up the great videos, that hood latch switch might be for the remote start? My 16 hellcat manual does not have it.

If your car has remote start, that is probably the kill switch if you pop the hood before turning on the ignition. Safety measure.

Shift knob is just for looks right on the A8? Shouldn't impact anything with the tuning unless you disconnected something?

Do you have long tube headers on GoManGo?
I do not. The factory headers, and cats, can flow enough to support about 1000HP so the juice isn't worth the squeeze.
