2. accuracy upgrade is useless for ads, take this if you end up using more shoulder fire but otherwise test which guns really need it in the practice range 7. shoulder fire on the right click and ads on the mouse's thumb button is my poison (kanami and kokona are not an option for me with these keybindings) I also find shoulder fire on toggle is easier to move around while in it "missed" things 1. Ping button on middle mouse, please? I'm asking nicely 2. rather than mouse wheel cycle through all your weapons consider: mouse wheel up = primary, down = secondary, number at the top 1 = nade 1, number at the top 2 = nade 2 (the number of people I've seen run out of ammo panic pull out both nades more than once and die is sad) 3. if you are having problems with people using stringify to meme on you close range (guilty), paper shotgun you or Flavia appearing and beaming you, consider choosing the flamethrower secondary and in those situations holding w while spamming a, d and space bar, while it isn't really a strong weapon it's very forgiving and as long as you are in range not really dodgeable either 4. stringify seems to work best when you keep the enemy that's shooting you slightly to the right of the reticle and you move to the left, this can be used with w or s to change the distance (little obvious but it's good to specify that you don't need to move only left)
Thanks. Ive been waiting for this kind of video. At first I thought that I was bad at aiming, even tho ive been training my aim really hard since beta, but after release I was getting destroyed. I knew most of the things that you mentioned in the video, but the prefire one has never occured to my mind and it is a gamechanger. From the outside it feels like you are wasting bullets (which you are), but with that you also get some free hits because there is no delay which do wonders. Another thing you could have mentioned that when you are in a stringified mode and the enemy is directly shooting at you, you need to look at an angle, because if you look directly at the enemie, the stringified hitbox will be the same size as the player model. Yesterday me and my friend watched oour 1V1 replay and that was the key mistake I always made. Now I fixed it and I went from 2-3kill per game to 10+
The confidence tip may seem odd to people but it genuinely helped me win more gunfights. A lot of the time i assume the other person will be me but whenever I try to believe in the fact that I can win. I see myself either winning gunfights or dying but doing a lot of dmg to the enemy. Great guide!
Casual Ascendant rank Valo player here taking a break and trying out Strinova. Here's what I've learned in the short time solo queuing: The game really needs to implement over the shoulder switch. It'll really open up the game instead of relying on right side peeker's advantage to unsuspecting players unfortunate to be caught in left-sided positioning. Or maybe that's by design idk. I've learned to never take left-sided fights. Always stick with your team unless you can confidently lurk and play for picks with the appropriate duelist or a rushing Bai Mo. If you get a pick immediately back away and rejoin your team for the upcoming team fight on site. Otherwise always play with numbers advantage and go for trades. Really take some time and learn a character's kit in the range. Knowing your character's kit and combining map knowledge will pay dividends. For example on Base 404 map with Michele on defense, util on B site via off angles which is crazy good stall and information. And if the enemy is dumb enough to try to shoot for it they're wide open for a free pick. Stay grounded and avoid panic jumping in fights. There's still movement error when shooting and you can punish that player thinking they're playing Fortnite. Always go paper mode with your crosshair away from the target, bait their shots while you reload, and profit. Setting paper mode to hold instead of toggle and binded to one of your mouse buttons is a gamechanger. There's no need to do jiggle and jump peeks when you can go in paper mode. Another bind that was really helpful for me was setting right click hold to over the shoulder aim and a single right click toggle for ADS on distant targets. Not very helpful if you main snipers and marksman rifle characters. You can shoot Lawine's and Kanami's scan. Save your team the headache and deny the enemy information. If your character has healing in their kit never take healing grenades, smoke grenades will provide your team more util and cover on attacking and help stall pushes on defense. Always pick armor ASAP. If you can't afford in round 2, save credits for round 3. Avoid taking other upgrades until you've got armor. Combat upgrades don't mean anything if you're easily picked off giving the enemy team numbers advantage. Anyway, there's a lot more but this is all I could think of and the comment was long enough. Good luck ranking up and I believe in you.
Bonus Tip : I prefer my crosshair to be small and not moving when we shoot or move or jump. Disable the 'Movement Error' and 'Shot Deviation' in both Inner and Outer Crosshair
When I saw this clip at 4:37 I instantly noticed I wasn't confident in peeking angles even though it was a Right-Hand peek, I always ended up using "Spacebar" and just "Pre-Fire Poke" the enemies, Which in turn ends up with me missing all my shots because my crosshair goes everywhere while Jumping and changing momentum from Right to Left Meanwhile on this clip, you had the confidence to straight up peek the Angle and just ADS down the enemies I guess my "Low Time To Kill" Experience from VALORANT/CS is preventing me from ADSing in an open angle for too long and just straight up take the fight 😅 And yes, I rarely play "High Time To Kill" type of games
I just hopped onto a 3v3 Arena and straight up just take the fight I stopped using too much "Spacebar" while on a 1v1, and relied more on my Aim, instead of Jumping around like a Neon on Red Bull trying to dodge the enemies bullets, which resulted in me getting more kills than usual
I think having a very low ping will also greatly help. I've tried playing this game at 90ms and it was just shit because enemies would see first and my shield and health gets depleted instantly. But when I did some fixing and increased my ping to about 30ms-40ms, I am able to kill enemies better.
@ finally got it the other day, after looking at the map list in custom I’m surprised by how many maps there are, now if only we could get some love on escort XD
Im a new player to strinova, and my problem is that I tend to lose quickly when shooting long distances. It's that my bullets are inaccurate when I scope in. And in some of your clips like 2:22 , I see that you strafe a bit when you scope, so does that strafing help with accuracy?
No, strafing doesn't help with accuracy but I do it to make the opponent have to track and hopefully miss shots. You should practice recoil control or try bursting at long ranges
They do hurt people side stepping, gliding and those on walls. I've not seen a way to switch what side the shoulder camera is on but I will look more in depth soon
This game has been disappointing. These are good tips, don't get me wrong, but this game needs more than these 7v7 arena matches. They need maps where you drop like fortnite and apex. Also, once you're done with bots this game is already a cheatfest, you see a list of like 300+ banned players in the game's new screen, pathetic. That's why most are missing shots.
The main gamemode is 5vs5, exactly the same as Valorant and CS2. You unlock it by levelling up. They throw you into other gamemodes first to unlock the main mode and learn the game and characters
@Reaygun That's a good idea I guess to let players get used to the game and smaller matches can be better than putting 60 people on a map, but I was hoping for a story mode eventually that's like the beginning tutorial where you glide and climb walls, and they develop the story. I hope that is their plan for the future since the storyline and artwork seem well thought out. Much more thought out than for a 7v7 or 5v5 PvP game. I enjoy PvP, but I do hope they add a story mode and maybe more br modes. I am glad they have been banning cheaters and releasing the list too.

In number 7 you mean "or" instead of "and", right? Because you can't bind 2 actions to the same key and do then do them individually.
