I hope Arsenal uses all its toolkit to built up. They can build up by White/Calafiori tucking in and Rice/Merino shifts up. But they should also consider building up in a 4-4-2 to make use of the full width of the field. It makes them so unpredictable. And besides there's so much individual class. It feels like Merino is just the missing piece and thus just can be underestimated.
