Love Alicante, you chose a great location. Next time you are in Spain ask tour agent about the Sierra Crevillente and Castell Vell and the area around Hondon de las Nieves OR how about the Sierra Espuna near Alhama de Murcia, the ´Thousand Curves´ route (Mil Curvas) might possibly make a great video next time you´re in Spain. Any cafe, any weekend, (not mid summer), in Hondon de las Nieves you can find loads of Spanish MTB and road groups to talk to and they all know some wonderful routes. Great routes, great food, beer and friendly company, AND just the right climate in spring and autumn. Come back soon lads and do some more. Adiós mis amigos.

As if, I’ve just been to Benidorm and after flying over the mountains of Alicante I put a photo from outside the plane window while in flight saying that I wish I had my bike with me and said that gmbn should make a video there and after watching gmbn this video has popped up although you done it a year before I said lol, now gonna watch this with a fat coffee, afore the show guys, on my day off if I’m not riding I’m tuning in 👊

John Bicycle it's possible to damage a tire beyond just sealant.... I've seen a pic of a3 inch gash in a tire that was ziptied and reinforced with a glove and a tube stayed in it....haha.
If you come to Alicante write me and I will recommend routes that you can download in wikilooc. Not by the coast, by the interior, mountains of the north of Alicante (Sierra Mariola, Bizcoi, Benicadell, etc)
I once punctured right on the top of Geiser 3 and had to walk down. Sucked pretty bad but I wasn't sure what was easier, walking down or riding down??? Steep, loose and rockier than the rock himself!
I think a bike wash was mentioned as some of the facilities on hand? Washing a bike out there looked like it could mostly be done by giving the bike a quick dust off rather than the hour of "soap" and water its currently taking here in sunny Wiltshire!

Bungle2010 fixed it at the bottom with a mates inner tube, he went first and was at the bottom before I could shout stop!
