As I can make out the higher the MSI value the stiffer and lighter the pole but also the more brittle. The Xtreme is 63.3 MSI. I went for the Ova8 hi mod which is only I think 46 MSI. So it is light and stiff but not a likely brittle as the Xtreme
Harry tats pure disaster Dosent do Gardiner any favours if they don’t stand over there poles as there not cheap to buy I could see it breaking with an aul eigit But we know ye take care of your equipment really well Be very keen to hear what Gardiner say back and how long it takes them will ye keep us all posted I was gonna buy 1 but will hold off now til we see
Yes the slx is basically bulletproof with this extreme I'm not to sure if I just got a bad one or if there all like that sureclean was very helpful and wants to send in the photos for me to see what gardiner can do so fingers crossed
Pity to hear that about the extreme Harry given the price of it and all that we have ordered 2 of the 30ft slx we were very happy with the 25 found it very good to be fair but thanks for the heads up on the extreme!

I have mine 10 months, never cleaned it and use it for windows and gutters soffet and facia and no problems
I'm looking on getting one, but want it to last a year at least

Nope only using slx poles again extreme keeps on braking especially section 2 and 3
Considering the price I think it should be a little bit longer, lasting.

Yes it's a huge difference beetwen CLX and slx what size will u go for? 25ft?
Harry T not sure yet 18 does me fine for majority of jobs but be nice not to have to use 27 clx , probably 25 which do u think ur self
