@GoldenCroc I've got a list of mods on the descriptions of all my UA-cam videos as the list is quite long. The idea, if you mean the vinyl, was done by my wife as I wanted something japanese but not cherry blossom. She recommended the painting as it's a famous painting and she smashed the design out for me. 🙂
Hey, Matt... Some GREAT looking cars at that show!! The ONE car that I was SLIGHTLY PUZZLED by was the RX8; I always thought that they had 3 doors; 2 on 1 side & only 1 on the other, so I was surprised to see that, that one has 4 doors! Guess I'm not the "petrol head" I thought I was..!!! 🙂
Hi that's my rx8! They definitely have suicide doors both sides. They are the reason we did such an extensivev install. They display the cars interior so well
I am a Citroën man myself, but some of these I quite like. I learned to drive in a Honda Accord back in 1983 and I still have a soft spot for Hondas and Mazdas, especially the RX7.
Have to ask Matt who talked you into putting on that “ Maids outfit “ nice dancing too , who knew 😂. You gotta love a good Japanese car 👌🏻was a big fan of T- top Toyota Celica GT back in the day.
The Japanese market, and Japanese car aficionados around the world really come up with some creative ideas when it comes to customizing their vehicles. The things they do with trucks and vans are amazing!
That Toyota 4Runner looks unstoppable. The Mid 1980s Celica was a beautiful design especially the Cabriolet. A Sleeper Datsun Sunny is genius because the Datsun Sunny 1200 is one of the slowest cars that I have travelled in. Good heater though.
Back in college in the early 70s a guy in my dorm had a Datson 240 Z. I had never heard of a Japanese sports car before. Indeed it was only after the Arab Oil Embargo of Fall, 1973 that Americans started seeing more than a handful of Japanese cars on our roads. Then I rode in it and "Hot damn!!"
If you really want a Subaru Forester, get in touch with Ian from HubNut Matt. He has one that he wants to sell (I still don't understand why). It's low mileage, first gen, and turbo. Go for it! After my first two cars (sixties Morris Minis), every other car I've owned was Japanese, Mazda, Honda or Suzuki. Apart from two old SAABs, of course. Unfortunately, they were money pits and didn't last long. The Japanese cars were always reliable.
Back in the early 80s, my best mate and I both only had access to our dads' cars - mine a mk1 astra (nippy enough and fun) and his was a Datsun 180B, met blue with a cream interior (very nice). He drove it like he'd stolen it, and it took everything in its stride. I loved it but ended up with a Viva 1800 Magnum for a first car, while Jim's first motor was...an Ital. Still, all of them would be classics today...
12:26 the red MX5 is mine, we also met the day prior at Radwood - I have the white Volvo 960 Estate The MX5’s headlight intakes aren’t functional anymore due to the throttle bodies exiting (entering?) through the bonnet but at one point they fed some ducts going to more traditionally fitted throttle bodies
Yo Matt, ive been on the planet for many moons and that is on my bucket List. As i have said before i am big on Japanese Automobiles. Back in the day it was Nissan/Datsun ,Toyota, Mitsubishi Honda and the like. Been driving cars for 60 odd years and my opinion is still the same. In saying that i just sent my Honda Civic Gen 7 to the scrappie. Not economically viable to repair. So i have sourced my next vehicle. A Honda mk8. That's brand Loyalty. Thanks for the vid(especially the first couple of frames.) Later 🤣
love Japanese cars. I have a Suzuki Cappuccino and love driving it. I think you drove one a few years ago on your channel. Where there any Cappuccinos at the show? Great video thanks.
Clearly a nice show but I always think that Japanese cars are just better that way came out of the factory. Sure, you can spend ££££ on them but then you're into another world. To me. just embrace them for what they are, and just enjoy.
Hmm, you want a Forester eh? How about buying Mr Hubnut's recently acquired example? You & he are old pals, he seems to want to find a custodian for his spotless UK market example. I smell a top tier collaboration in the air. Thanks for this video, Matt, I enjoy your content always. But this shows that you're a petrolhead through and through. Cars from Italy, The USA, Germany and now giving your gorgeous Eunos/MX5 a chance to meet its pals. Great stuff, Sir. By the way; have you ever driven anything from the veteran era? If not then please do this ASAP.😊
I didn't wonder how much Ian would want for his Forester, although I think it'll all be fixed before he moves it on.. The oldest Ive driven is 1930, and something on my bucket list to own something that old soon
As a viewer from the USA, I’m super jealous that you get to see these cars in their RHD fashion! Their intended glory!
Some of the show cars are just so immaculately clean. That one with the three nitro bottles and the huge subwoofers was just insane!! 6:46
Thanks for the kind words on my Cube there!! ❤
Thank you for capturing my rx8 🙌
Thanks for catching my Evo, and using it in your thumbnail, really appreciate it! 😊
It looked nice. Mind giving a quick summary of mods and idea for it?

Not a problem, thanks for bringing the perfect thumbnail ready car! The art/graphics really stood out on it
@@furiousdriving thank you!
@@dominichills Yes I do believe I have seen that exact painting before. It suits your car well, I must say. Well done, carry on.

What an amazing event! 😍 Image and sound quality top notch, by the way 👌😃
Thanks so much!

Thanks for the walk around! Nice show.
It was a good one, and a bit different to the usual classics

Hey dude! That's my Forester and 86 in the vid, everything's for sale for the right price 😉
Fantastic little show so much JDM Goodness on display.

I had a Datsun Cherry 100a in yellow and a nice Suzuki Swift 4dr AWD saloon JDM import. Fond memories of them both ❤

My bonnet opener on the IS made it 🤣😂.
Old cam out of my PD, repurposed to be useful haha

I thought it was you, I spotted the instgram tag on it

Hi Furious We need a road trip abroad or a cheap car challenge !!! Or both!
love Japanese cars. I have a Suzuki Cappuccino and love driving it. I think you drove one a few years ago on your channel. Where there any Cappuccinos at the show? Great video thanks.
We did this last year in much better weather! Will get in touch soon about the Silver e11 Corolla we spoke about at FOTU 👍🏻
Thanks, look forward to it
On Monday I went on a 300+ mile drive in my K24 engine Accord , just for the shear hell of driving some great roads in northern England.
Brilliant fun!
A car so very different and was your MX 5 the most undermodified car the and those Honda Oddysis the coolest people movers ever
Every Evo should have been pointing nose-on to an Impreza
Great work, thanks
20:57 Toyota jzx100 Mk II 😍😍
Great cars. Great video
Wasn't Hondas MPV the Stream or Shuttle over here, I can't remember which is older or newer
Shuttle - ua-cam.com/video/0qBRBBpUtq0/v-deo.html
Where are all the Mitsubishi Airtreks? never seen any at these meets
Could always buy HubNuts Forrester although it is manual and definitely not a WRX STi lol
It would have to be a manual for me! Maybe an STi engine swap?
Konichi-wa, Furious-san! 😁👍
Konichi-wa!
When polish your car, wax on wax off...
Not my "cup of tea" but I think this video will help the channel a lot! :)
I learnt to drive in a Micra 😊
Also I love going to brands hatch for the btcc

12:05 is our stand 🤟
No one was there to say hello to!
