This compact 18" (46 cm) aerator is ideal for smaller property aeration or hire companies and features reciprocating cam tines that propel the unit forward and drive cores up to 7 cm deep. The unit can aerate up to 2.000m2 per hour, is simple to operate for homeowners, easy to steer without lifting and requires no add-on weights.
The easy folding handle allows for compact transport and storage. Only four tines and no chains along with a no-tool removable cover make for easy maintenance.

Very informative video. I especially liked the slo-motion video portions of the aeration. The background music was a little loud especially compared to your comments which were very low volume. I think your comments were valuable but I had to place my computer right next to my ear to hear them. Perhaps you could consider using a wireless microphone that you would wear to help .
Love using the billy goat plugger
hi mate do you own one ?
Always great seeing new tools 😅
👍👍
😀😉
Just bought a like new model for less than half price. Looking forward to trying it out.
Great edit, love the easy access for greasing.
Cheers chap - it is a well designed, very well built bit of kit 😀
Can't beat a bit of aeration
Music to action shots were on point pal. Not that I would expect any else 😉
Great video, Andy! We added it to the Lawn Renovation playlist on our European Billy Goat channel.
😀 Thank you!
How do one get in touch in order for the bunch behind their desks to get back to one with queries as countless emails , online forms get filled in, yet NO response whatsoever.
If only customer service was as good as the build of their products.
Great video really enjoyed watching it
thinking of getting 1 for my own yard and.maybe do some yard's..this can fit in my 03 yukon loom for used 1 first
I certainly enjoyed the video and music even though my lawn is only big enough for a garden fork :) If you get more of the range to play with then perhaps worth covering the differences in the machines and perhaps where you see different uses?
Steven Knight That is some fantastic feedback - I will se what I can do 👍
Almost impossible to do slopes tho. I have one It’s a workout
Love it
Thank you for watching 👍
Billy goat beast!
Question
Which one is better this one or the one Home Depot has the Ryan machine
cant hear u very well
My audio in this was not great. Always learning 👍
So you have different speeds when using???
The speed of the tines is dictated by the revs of the engine. The travel speed is dictated by the operator 😂
Now that looks like a very nice bit of kit 👍
Your sound faded. Preferred the other one. Less mess but which is better for the lawns?
Hector Grows Veg Hollow tine is definitely more beneficial, as it will significantly help reduce competition. The other machine is like a ninja - will swoop in and do its thang, without hardly a trace 🤣 Solid tine like the - ninja machine will help with drainage - water penetration and gaseous exchange. All beaut kit 😀 I filmed the speaking part of this at the end of a very busy day 🤣
Hi there great video but , I couldn't hear much of the comments at the end sound was to low, but wanted to ask how much did you feel you had to push the machine in operation, and was it possible to turn while aerating cheers G
Hi, I still have a lot to learn when it comes to editing. Getting audio levels correct is definitely something I am working on.
The machine propels itself nicely when aerating.
You can follow curves when aerating - but you wouldn’t want to do headland turns with them down.
I believe they also make a self propelled version?
Hope this is helpful and thank you for watching
@@TheFullyChargedGardener thankyou for that very helpful cheers G
Hi
Can I just ask why you chose this model over the AW401H? Looking to buy one for my business. Just unsure on which model. Thanks
We chose this unit because we have some smaller patches of lawn, as well as our larger areas. This units size makes it perfect for us.
I have the bigger model driven by their hydro trans. On my second trans in just a couple years. Replaced a bearing wheel that blew into two pieces. Not worth the 4k+ price tag in my opinion. The belts get very hot and wear out quick. Making me think the went to the chain driven newer model.
We actually bought this unit after we were done with the demo - Will be interesting to see how it goes over the coming seasons.
Thank you for watching and commenting - always great to hear other people’s experiences with machines 👍
Dear - what is the better: Billy Goat Plugr 18 or LA25 CAMON. Thank you.
It is all down to personal preference, we purchased the PLUGR 18 if that is helpful.
Thank you for watching 👍
Music too loud, comments too quiet, I stopped watching before 4:00
Thank you for watching
Hey there !! Did you use this across a slope ? Been using 3 wheeled one on hire ! On the slopes it has to be fought with to stop it tipping over to the side !!
Hi,
I have not really been operating it on slopes, but when traveling from areas I have been pushing it on slopes and it has been stable. Hope this is helpful 👍
If you hit a rock sub surface with spikers will it wreck it.
The unit is very well built and designed to take some impact.
You never show the aerator turning! Just doing straight shots!
Thank you for watching 👍
This lawn didn't need to be aerated lol
Thank you for watching
