Flexibility aside I think she did quite well. I am happy/satisfied/proud (I am not sure which word would be right lol) with her result. I would have expected Iroha to perform better tbh (especially in the shuttle run). I saw that a lot of people were surprised at Kanata just dropping immediatly in the dead hang, but I have seen explanations that satisfy me in that regard (about it not being about grip strength that much, etc). Choco-Sensei really impressed and surprised me tbh, had never heard of her being remarkably fit before. I mean, all I heard did indicate that she lived quite healthy unlike more "neet gamer"-ish style a lot of other members have but definitly wasn't expecting her to consistently perform well to wind up being the first (second with Lamy) place overall.
@@gokbay3057I mean, at least the shuttle run was mentally a lot more taxing for Iroha. Her two senpai stopped really fast, so there's already pressure of them just looking (and waiting) on her. Suichan and Nenechi basically kept each other going. Iroha (and Lamy) had to endure it 'alone'. (They mentioned it in the stream)
@@misuzusatou4001 Yeah, fair point. I remember "Iroha enduring it alone" being mentioned in a clip as well. That is true that being alone would give you less motivation to keep going (especially as I am pretty sure they don't see a timer so don't know how close they might be to ranking higher). The fact Nene only did the bare minimum after Sui-chan rather than try to keep going as long as possible to build a lead just in case the members that ran later would go for longer (I mean, they didn't of course, but they might have) also supports it all being about mental strength/focus on that. (An comment I saw for Kanata just dropping the hanging rather than doing is was that she just didn't feel like it. Which was probably meant mostly in a comedic way rather than as a serious guess/argumeny, but could have been a part of it. Similarly, while I would think you could push yourself more in the shuttle run than the dead hang mental strength probably was part of the latter as well. Suisei and Choco started complaining/heavily breathing way earlier than they actually let go)
@@gokbay3057 Yeah, haha, they only have each other and the speed of Lamy's meowth song to go on. So Lamy doing 51 really by herself is pretty good too~ Polka said it also that Nenechi looked like she still could go on easily, and Nenechi was like, I surpassed Suichan so... Kanatan totally looked like she wanted to go for the fun route instead (after a small mess up?), lol. And Iroha's grip slipped, rather than actual exhaustion from hanging. (She says so too, but she's pulling herself up right before to what looks like to adjust her balance) But yeah totally agree. Dead hang totally needs mental focus too.
I am now convinced that if Sui were ever out to get me, I could simply outrun her or climb over a wall lol Hoshiyomis were eating good the stream, the only time we get anything close to Sui fanservice!
I mean, she did end up placing second place, so still higher chances to catch you compared to most of the other Holomem involved (and indeed she was second place in the shuttle run and a joint third with many other members in the jump at 50cm (only Choco and Iroha reaching higher) as well as the one that hang on for third longest time. And these three are the only ones I see being relevant in a run or climb). But yes, this stream is source of many dorky chuuni Suisei moments and cute Suinoises of effort, which is great.
@@ultrcombraun1559 It's still pretty impressive for someone who supposedly doesn't exercise tbh. Most girls I know can't even hang at all, they fall off immediately.
She manages to hold on st lot longer than me😅. Also i just can't help being amazed at how much they can do with the big improved studio and tracking now
The firmness of body certainly turned out to be true thought, having the worst result in back bending by far lol. But yeah, she does seem to have underestimated herself when talking about lack of physical strength.
Sui-chan’s confident level is amazing 🤣 But if you assume that the Holomen rarely goes out unless needed, it’s reasonable to say that all of them did relatively well! 😁 (Nene is an exception, she has too much energy! 🤣)
I never really watched much of Holo JP until recently, so I presumed Suisei to be of those “ultracool” types that’s just kind of casually perfect at everything. That fact that she’s physically 80 years old is great lmfao
Oh come on! The woman didn't rank joint second place overall to be called "physically 80 years old". Like ok, she did horrible in the back bending thing. But she did quite well in everything else. She got 3rd place in the dead hanging, sharing 3rd place with most of those involved in the jump with 50 cm, second place in shuttle run and second place in the cart push thing. I am sorry if I am reacting too seriously to a comment that is meant to be light hearted but I have begun to be a bit annoyed after seeing comment sections of a few clips covering this stream. I am probably simply tired and in a bad mood (it has become 4am here) as despite how I feel when I make myself think on it the number of "negative" comments about Suisei's physical abilities aren't actually that high (and one of the clips specifically focuses on the section she did terribly in) but still, I needed to type this stuff out to vent. That said, to try to end on a better note, seeing Suisei while performing (or when really into a game she is good at) really does give the feeling that she is effortlessly perfect at everything but she is actually a total dork sometimes. When left to mess around with her friends she can do the goofiest stuff. (One of the things she does is she talks to dolls, usually while putting on a cutesy voice. She absolutely hates vegetables and loves meat, talked about how she saw civilians in GTA as coins in Mario Kart while driving a car in game, made herself a reputation of being a psychopath through maniacal laughter while killing people in Project Winter. Last April Fools she did not just roleplay as a different more cutesy personality but also released a new song and even some merch.) While she can absolutely be one of the coolest people in Hololive when serious she is also hilarious when not taking things seriously and just having fun. I would certainly recommend looking into her more. Hope my comment didn't leave a negative impact. As I stated previously in my comment, I just felt the need to vent, I guess your comment was like the last straw that broke the camel's back or something.
Yeah it's really entertaining. I love Suisei's 3D performances and she's got amazing stage presense but some members are much better at dancing (or just... Sheer physical ability. Korone comes to mind too).
Suisei is well known for being a huge goof when she's not on stage. She brings dolls with her and talk to them, or talk to people with them. She's always goofing around with her friends etc.
The point scheme is first place gets 5 points, second place 4, third place 3, fourth place 2, fifth place 1 and 6th and lower 0 points. Matsuri ended up placing 6th or lower everytime. I think she was second to last in the dead hanging? (Did better than Kanata who dropped after like two seconds. I think Matsuri said her hands slipped or something?) In back bending she rose double the height Suisei did (32cm vs 16cm) but still ended up being second to last only before Suisei, I think she did 30 or maybe 40 cm only on the jump (while pretty much everyone else except Kanata got 50 + Iroha did 60 and Choco did 70), in the Shuttle Run she did 30 something iirc, which put her on the lower end again, while I don't remember what her score on the cart was (thought I think she placed third to last there as Nene was disqualified and Kanata passed the 0 point and "fell").
High stamina, low flexibility, sounds about right! To be honest she endured the dead hang a lot longer than I thought she would!

Of all the things to climb over, you chose a wall tsk tsk tsk, i feel sorry for you mate, that wall will be your end
jokes on you, THERE is no wall, SHE'S th-
It's fun n games that you are climbing on until she activates her creative mode
Walls won't stop her, she'll just chop them down with her axe.
Got exactly what I expected from sui and I’m super satisfied
I’m surprised she managed 41s on the bar. Sui is strong
she gets regular practice by handling those axes
That explains everything
Must be pretty light.
You have to remember that she's only 50kg

LOL Lamy sound effects were so funny and Sui chan trying to act cool

Cool, cute and funny all at once. That's our Sui-chan!

King Engine? No, Hoshimachi engine.
This is my kamioshi. I love her.
We all the same with you.
“The opposite of sexy”… Yeah given the things her thirstier fans do, I think they’d disagree😂
1:22
0:30 ... ☄️ 🎶
1:55 like a comet, I thought she had the "Boost".
Suisei just number 2 across the board lol. It's both impressive and sad.
Even the way Sui-Chan runs is cute.
A suichan trying her best too cute 🥰🥰🥰
My toxic trait is thinking I could do any better. God I love Suisei…
Silly Sui-chan
amazing fitness competition! wish we had even more!

Thank you for the highlights! I couldn't figure out who was what on that scoreboard!
