It is unbelievable. Down the memory lane, 39 years back during my successful Kugti pass trekking our team reached Hadsar by jeep over newly build non metaled road opened for first time. From Hadsar to Manimahesh was a hard trek cionsidering Bandar ghati chadai. Back to Hadsar & then 13 KM thrilling mountainous deep jungle trek by the side of river Buddhal to rich Kugti Village. Remotest & last village in the side of Kullu valley in this side.
When we reached the village on a special date of village carnival. All the ladies & gentlemen of this village with their ornamental traditional dress participated together in a beautiful traditional dance at the village square.After that carnival/festival majority of the villagers left the village towards Hadsar & below for passage of hard winter. As their source of income was limited to being shepherd so no work in winter.
I can specially remember those special houses at village square made of stone & logs same to same in your video. But it is a regret that the condition of those houses are in very sorry state. Administration should provide some support for their preservation. They are rear & special. Before moving to kugti jyote(local language of pass) we stayed at village being guest of shri Tara Chand Sharma who was our guide & porters leader also. My best wishes to him through your youtube posting ,where ever he may be. Many many thanks to you for your posting by which memory of my golden days reminds many beautiful events. It took 39 years to reach vehicles & bus to Kugti. Thanks HP govt.

This video brought back memories of my recent trip to Bharmour and Kugti. I visited this region recently with my friends and I must say it is one of the best trips of my life. There are no words that can explain the untouched beauty of Kugti village. On passing through the Kugti village you are greeted by friendly locals. The road from Bharmour to Kugti passes through high mountains with splendid views everywhere. In between comes Hadsar village from where the Manimahesh Kailash Yatra starts. A trek from the village leads you to Swami Kartikeya Temple. At the top, you will find mesmerizing views all around. Away from the hustle bustle of tourist places, Bharmour also has a lot to offer. On approaching Bharmour, you are greeted with 'I love Bharmour' sign. Then there is Chaurasi Temple in the town. The weather is absolutely amazing. Himachal is not just limited to Shimla, Manali, Dharamshala, and Dalhousie. It is much beyond that. As a travel enthusiast, I keep on exploring new places which are not on the tourist map. Bharmour and Kugti are really gem of places.

Thakur Sahab, Dixit ji The name of UA-cam channel is Him Bus in which you mostly cover Himachal Pradesh with rare exception of Laddakh occasionally. I suggest you cover all regions of states where it snows frequently at least sometimes in year viz Jammu- Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh specially in winter when many parts of Himachal Pradesh, Laddakh bus routes are closed. It will help with viewership of your UA-cam channel
Himbus means Himachal bus
@ Narendra Jha If that's the case, they should not have covered Laddakh that's further north of Leh which has no connection to Himachal Pradesh given even Delhi Leh bus operated by Himachal Pradesh Region Tourism Corporation only goes to Leh, not further north from there

Been to this amazing village a month ago. We went beyond Kelang swami temple to a place called Duhgi.. it took us about 2 hrs of trekking from the temple. The landscape was completely different. Somewhat simillar to spiti valley. We experienced amazing hospitality from a local lad. People are really welcoming and humble. And offcourse, Rajmah. We loved it.
