Divide and AmaLee, such an awesome duo. This reminds me also of the early 2000's rock. This song could easily be a soundtrack. I haven't watched Sword Art Online as yet, from what I have seen, from the fight scenes and what my brother tells me about it. It looks like an awesome anime. This is what finally got me to watch SAO since i was always put off by the hate the show gets, and its now one of my all time favourite shows. This is the song that made Rustage cry on stream during his reaction. This was part of a collab Divide did with Amalee who is an anime cover artist. They did a Hazbin Hotel song on her channel called 'Hell of a team' and its also super good. So if you liked this combo you'll love that one too.

Ay if yall haven't listened to em yet, I think "made me a monster" and "big bang" by gameboyjones are undercover gems man. Bijudama by shwabadi was dope as hell too and it was severely underrated!
I'm a big fan of SAO. The story was interesting at first but yeah I think it did get repetitive later, but there were always cool moments each season. Visually and musically the show is great, and it was one of the first anime I watched. But SAO definitely was one of the first isekai anime, or at least made isekai anime more popular so I do think it deserves something for that at least.... But yeah this song definitely sounds like it could be a SAO opening or song in the show.
Yeah we can see why people would say that for sure. Overall we just had fun watching it. We don't tend to read too much into most shows like that. It's not like they really made to be the deepest most quality writing ever. Especially with pretty quick out the gate op characters. The song really fit well with it though!!
i liked the first 12 eps of sao and the second half was meh and after watching season 2 i dont ever wanna see those characters ever again lol id argue this song is the best thing to come from sao
I put it like this: imo, there’s nothing wrong with SAO. The story itself isn’t bad for the first half but it went down hill when they started using [BLEEP] to push a narrative. This the problem i had with Fate Heaven’s Feel part 3. Now, one thing for sure that everyone agreed on for SAO is the OSTs, OPs, and Endings are very VERY good. But, it also went down hill when kirito just becomes Jesus-Kun and having all the girls be apart of his harem and a damsel in distress. And the only one who wasn’t in his harem died (spoiler btw). They did better with season 2 part 1 when Sinon was doing her own thing but she just fell for Kirito like everyone else. Season 2 part 2 imo was the peak of SAO as a whole because Kirito actually gotten beat TWICE in a game he knows how to play. Then Acilization hit and Alice became apart of the Harem. Thats where things started to get dumb but good. The animation is great and the characters are great as far as Euego and Alice goes. Do i hate SAO? Yes cuz of the mere fact of using [BLEEP] to push a narrative and having kirito having a harem and literally being Jesus. Do i hate SAO? No. Overall, its not bad its just one hell of a rollercoaster 😂
Yeah I just think we didn't think that deep into it. But we love that people have differences of opinions. Overall to us we had fun watching it and can understand why people feel a certain way about it!
