Love that they have a thematic buff for priest and paladin when we just got done with a whole expansion with elemental dragons and shamans as the enemies and shamans never got anything
@ Apologies if I misunderstood. I thought the "thematic buff" was referring to a class perk which would make a few classes more viable. Personally I could care less about aesthetics , but I must have missed where they said that the stated buff gave an aesthetic.
On top of the 3 problems you listed, the dungeon buff should probably also be tied to a profession/race/something. It doesn't really matter what, as long as it isn't straight out requiring specific classes. Maybe if it was much, much weaker it wouldn't be as big of a deal anyway tho
I had to laugh when I saw the title. At the beginning of the Xpac I was yelling at my buddies on discord, telling them that this dungeon would be absolutely insane on M+. And they naively said "Well surely, Blizz will tune the dungeon accordingly".
Blizzard: “we hear you m+ is too hard. We will make it more enjoyable”. Then I see this mess. I don’t mind difficult. But it just doesn’t even look enjoyable.
I'll add the 4th thing wrong with that buff: it should be available to more people than just Paladins and priests. It should also be available to 1 race per faction, and 1 profession like the Mists doors. My suggestion would be Dranaei and Blood Elf for races, and Enchanting for profession.
To summarise this dungeon. Dungeon buff must have, every pack has a tank buster and massive aoe dmg for the group. Well done on the dungeon design. Average hoomie will not pass mythic +4 on this and if you play non meta enjoy the quesimulator
=l2p i play on retail 4mounth and difficle m+ is boring af 12-14 is joke af (with 633itl) :D and 90% players have problem with 12-14m+ it is sad. meta doenst matter. with prot pala can "solo" heal and kick + m12

It looks like they at least toned down the consecration tics from the paladins after going inside. I remember getting one shot in heroics in week 1 by that, and it did damage the same server tic that it came down, you didn't even have time to move no matter how fast your reaction time was. Dungeon still looks like cheeks overall, though. Hopefully they take the time they have left to fix it.
Dont even care how blizzard “nerfs” dungeons and buff loot and emblems etc etc, S2 dungeon pool looks worst of any season since M+ inception. TOP and floodgate look like the two most reasonable places, but even those…
I pugged this on a 7 on ptr. The scaling was horrid, entire team was getting one-tapped and i'm a bdk soloing up to the 2nd boss lol. The buff is DISGUSTING
I knew this dungeon was going to be a problem when I was pumping 1m hps on this dungeon in NORMALS.
1m on normals tells me that people are standing in bad. Aka classic dps fire make dps bigger

well, you gotta tell the trend. Any dungeon with human paladins or priests as mobs, you know you are in fucking trouble

Is it plausible/ possible to skip the mini boss in the courtyard with the buff, fight the other minis, and have Shanemail with the boss?

First time I did this dungeon, that first pull I couldn’t help but giggle at how this is fixing to be.

Can you play some keys on VDH :) I struggle on surviving on some big pulls on keys on 12 and above.

It was expected, remember pumping 800k hps on freaking heroic with certain packs at start of xpac
