I remember a long time ago, YG was so interested in having a YG version of Girls Generation which has 9 members. So him to adamant on being it a large group is surprising for me. Anyways YG usually caves into public pressure, we have seen it in his boy groups. Debuting ikon despite them losing and making treasure 12 despite it being originally 7. Babymonster is gonna be 7 whether he likes it or not because the public always wins, and the public wants 7.

YG have so many teaser leading up for 7 members. By reviewing all the videos and teasers it's so clear that there are 7 members in teader2 of last evaluation there's a clip there with 7 mic standing are all the members and we didn't see that performance in any episode it might be that pre debut song at the end they are going to perform at may 12. And we see they are dancing with Keil which I Know don't teach trainee but debut idols from YG. 🤭😎

this week friday will be the announcement of BabyMonster. no use speculating anymore, just need to wait until YG says it.
It will probably be a press release, like he did with BlackPink.
YG does not have solo artists that are not already in a group. Gummy (2nd gen) and Lee Hi (3rd gen) soloists in YG left the company. There is no 4th gen soloist in YG for females not already in a group. Somi is a soloist under the Black Label. Jinni who left NMIXX is not in YG or the Black Label.
Somi is underutilized! Justice for Somi!! 🥺
@ccanna1001 I stand corrected on Jinni, last I heard she was with YG but she went with a different company.

BABY CONTENT! You're pregnant? Congratulations. LOL. There is also the fact that YG registered BAEMON and BABYMONSTER at the same time. He could say that BABYYMONSTER is not a seven member group because BAEMON is. Or something to that effect. we will see tomorrow how it plays out. I hope that we get a debut song and video with the announcement.
