New subb here and enjoyed your first reaction, now I do agree with everyone that tells you to start the nf journey at the beginning just because his catalog plays like a book that’s read… by chapters. And y’all just opened the book and started reading the story at chapter 6. This is the first chapter he’s ever had a wardrobe in white “ Hope” his first 5 chapters is the story that got him to this video! And I have 2 thoughts on the Christian thing and the color thing. 1) he’s not a Christian rapper, but a rapper who’s a Christian, you’ll understand more if you start this journey. Which I now have my fingers cross that you do so after this amazing reaction. And 2) I recognize color as well but in the common sense factor of yes we have differences as do all people. I’ve played basketball my entire life from middle school to JUCO ball and been dunked on since 6th grade by black men, but I also gave back as good as I got, not by dunking cause white men can’t jump but playing well enough to earn a spot on the floor. My point is that you’re spot on in your analysis because we won and lost on the floor as brothers, and shared the hurt and triumph together as one unit no matter color or differences the truth is we share WAY MORE similarities and I hope to take this journey with you guys. I agree that you should take the journey. My recommendation, though, would be to revisit this one after you go through the journey. It hits so different when you know Nate's history and background. So many Easter eggs and lyrical connections to earlier releases (as is the norm for NF)... Seriously, when Hope came out, I was screaming with excitement, crying with pride for his growth, and so hyped for the rest of the album... If believe that if people would start at the beginning of his JOURNEY they would be find a path to mental health in their own life as well. Nate has gone through so much in his life and he has learned how to be real in his songs. They are not always fun, but they ARE powerful 💔❤️🩹🤕❤️💪🏽

This is the first album that he wears white (hope) where he wears all dark colors before this. You should take the journey.
