As a local guy from Beijing, I can assure you that the Workers' Stadium is the most crowded football pitch in China. If you're interested, I recommend you to watch the Beijing - Shanghai Shenhua game which will be held in this weekend. We are probably the biggest rivalry in the country, so the atmosphere will be significant. Full stadium Tifo.
