  • In this video, I discuss few things that I am being asked frequently. Things that I cover here might be covered in a previous video, so here is the list of things that I mention in this video:
    - How to control the states when animating the results
    - How to display the Fringe components, and control their range
    - How to extract the data using History option, and ASCII option
    - What is the difference in the results from History and ASCII?
    - How to use Cross Option to plot Force vs Displacement/Stress vs Strain curves
    - How to show the velocity vectors?
    - How to plot a the results (stress, strain, displacement) along a path, with the help of excel

    Yet another great video - thank you!

      @@AmeenTopa Thank you for the quick response. I am passed the basics and have watched the video you mentioned. I was hoping for a tutorial that shows how to comprehensively post-process laminated composites. For instance, in your video, it is not mentioned how layers’ stresses can be viewed. As far as I am concerned, there exists no such video on UA-cam. Besides, modelling composites with 3D and T-Shell elements will be very instructive to all - just a suggestion!

    • @AmeenTopa
      @AmeenTopa  3 роки тому +2

      Do you mean to display the Fringe component (colors) within a range and the rest are grey?
      Yes, possible. Through the Fringe Range option.
      It is also possible to display the ELEMENTS within a stress range (or any other results) while the other elements that are outside this range are hidden. This is also from the fame Fringe Range option.
      In the Fringe Range, you have Upper and Lower with boxes next to them. You tick on those both boxes and define the range. Now, the elements outside these range will be grey (by default). You can change that color, or make it transparent by sliding the button next to it.
