Actually, she raised the issue when she confronted him about her knowledge that she knew he saw liman on episode 16 and some other episodes but his reply was either "its nothing" or " did you put a camera on my shirt" or "are you interrogating me" or " we agreed not to meddle on each other's affairs" there is only so much anyone can take that and some other excuses he gives, even if its his forfeit punishment, he did not even to to her parent's homeowners her birthday but saw liman instead. It can be tiring. Oh and there is that "did you have gunpowder for breakfast" that by this point she knows she has to get out of his life and take care of herself and unborn child. That should leave him to be with Liman without intervention or interrogation.
I like the maturity of Lu Li in how she handled her own send off with those she cared about. There was no rant, rave, no upset neighbors. No cussing, fussing; no police called for domesticrelated issues. Just a calm, rational, decision of releasing herself from a contract, once controlled by Yicheng, to now become null and void; why waste each others time. She later told her new friend that she had a crush on someone, but he didn't like her! So very wise to recognize that factor instead of her unrequitted love crush!

I think it’s very important for Yicheng to go through this in order to grow. He lacks of emotions and maturity. The first thing He said when she said she wanted to divorce is ‘’is it because of Yiming?’’ It shows you how inconscient this man is. He doesn’t even realize that he was always running his ass off every time is ex was calling and completely neglected his wife. Time like this will only do good to him in the future.

Yes, she's very navies but she has always been sly and reversed. She a genius with programming but has no relationship experience. Why else would she married him. If when she asked him why he opposed the divorce he would have answered “because I’m falling in love with you” she would never have left. Instead he said “our contract is not over”. Everyone must understand that she overheard him accusing her of colluding with his mom to get him drunk. Then, over and over Li Man was doing all she could to undermine her in front of him while he’d passively listen. Poor Lu Li was feeling very insecure from the get-go and he could be very harsh with her. It’s not always easy to communicate your feelings and needs to someone you love if that other person doesn’t open that door. He wasn’t bothering to explain his decisions or his reasons to her either. When he told her it was foolhardy to make the shrimp for him rather than saying “it was so nice/sweet/generous, etc of you” that was hurtful…. Had I been Lu Li, I’d had taken the shrimp and thrown it all in the trash. I think she remained gracious to the end.

The thing that shocked me the most about this series was Lu Li's first time. He was drunk, it's not really clear who he went with that night, and she tells her friend she mistook me for Li Man. I feel so sad for this girl, who had her first time with a man who doesn't he does not even know that he was with her that he felt pleasure and desire to do so. She now she gets pregnant, with a man who always runs when her ex calls him. He saw that he was taking care of her in the hospital while she was completely alone. You can come to hate someone you have loved so much, you can. I think that Li Lu finally realized in this episode that it is time to take back her life and leave him, totally unable from the beginning of not understanding anything, really, he is unwatchable for me.

That he needed to communicate with Lu Li but he was always nah I'll tell her later when things are settled. Now it's too late. Lu Li asked Yi Cheng several times to keep his distance from Li Man and to not be around Li Man without her. He also knows they don't get along but he kept running to Li Man every time she called. Several times he stood Lu Li up because of her. She needed to leave him. He took her for granted. You don't know what you have lost till its gone.

Maybe it’s the fear that he may confirm her suspicion, or he may lie, because the onus lies in him being truthful and frank in the beginning. There must be honesty before you get trust. I agree it is obvious he cares for her, but he has no idea how to show it. I don't think I would call it chemistry (at least not good chemistry) at this point, though that could change if he ever decides to do more than keep her away from other guys.

This is the gift to Mr. Jiang. She is decided of her fate and accepted her failure.. He forgot the plan because she cooked his favorite dish to his satisfaction.. He figured all is A-OK then he calls her a fool. He knows there's nothing between Yiming and his wife but he is looking for an excuse. He is grasping at straws. When he once more said the 1 yr contract agreement it didn't work anymore like the last time he threatened her with it. Her reply " you'll divorce me anyway, let's not waste each other's time" shocked him. He still can't understand the reason.

You will recall her answer to Yiming about her patience. She said " there's a limit to how low one can stoop to for the sake of love, I may not give my blessing with a smile, but I will know how to accept my defeat gracefully with a smile". True to her words, that is exactly what she did. Very mature outlook for one so young.

Even now he's still making excuse about Liman. He needs to admit his feelings for Liman and let Luli go. But finally, Luli realized that he will not love her back and like she told Yiming, she knows when to back off. Leaving him is the best decision.

I have watched all of the clips covering 21-30 and it is still satisfying to watch the full episodes. Yi Chen and Lu Li had a huge lack of communication betwn them but Yi Chen paid to much attention Li Man, running whenever she called but never there for Lu Li when she REALLY needed him. Plus Yi Chen was always accusing Yi Meng and Lu Li of liking each other when he was the one running behind and feeling bad for Li Man when Lu Li needed him, how ironic and he can't see what he has done wrong to chase Lu Li away. I am so happy that Lu Li has decided not to take his dismissive attitude anymore and to put herself above him. That will teach him a hard lesson. 😒😮😆😆😆👍👏

Everybody keeps saying there was a lack of communication but in fact there really wasn't she communicated exactly what she wanted from him and he completely and utterly ignored everything she had to say

Such as the challenge between her and Li Man, the the hotel scene, hospital scene, the reason she slept in the closet, the pregnancy etc. The more I write the madder I get. That jerk did not pay enough attention to her😅 and he disregarded her feelings but then we would not have had this good Drama if he listened to her. I think I need to watch the whole drama again . I keep getting sucked back in.😆😅😂

I can't believe that Yicheng can't figure out why Lu Li is so angry because of Lin Man.. Lu Li feel uncomfortable with him because Yicheng always to see Li Man
Part of the reason he doesn't understand is that she hasn't told him the things Li Man has been saying and doing; also, he did not know about the lipstick on his color until after Lu Li left.
Another factor is that he doesn't have any personal feelings toward Li Man other than as a friend and he is too oblivious to realize the Lu Li is jealous.
Unfortunately, he doesn't communicate well with Lu Li either about Li Man or about his feelings for her (Lu Li). She has no idea he is only there for her because she has nobody else (unlike his character in You Are My Destiny with Anna). And instead of admitting he likes her he always uses the contract as a reason not to terminate the relationship.

YiChang was slowly developing feelings for LuLi, but because he's a bit of a jerk, he always managed to say the wrong things. When LuLi was preparing his favorite dish even though she is allergic to them. He criticized her for being foolish. I mean in away yes, but you don't criticize someone who went out of their ways to do something good for you.
