Wow! This takes me back. Both choirs are very good especially when they formed a mass choir. I sang in college and church choirs during the '70s and '80s. I hope choirs are making a comeback.

Love the choir. Thank you for posting. Nehemiah 12:40 The two choirs that gave thanks then took their places in the house of God; so did I, together with half the officials, 41 as well as the priests-Eliakim, Maaseiah, Miniamin, Micaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah and Hananiah with their trumpets-

Why is the second choir considered new school? The Baptist church I grew up in had multiple choirs and always marched in, so there was nothing new about that to me. Even the selection form isn't new as far as I see.
@@MsFirestarter07 It’s just age-based. The first choir in black and white are all young people under 30, the second choir in robes are 30+, mainly in their 40’s and 50’s
Robes allow the focus to be on Jesus. They cover any distraction - gaudy outfits, color, length, or tightness of outfit, busy patterns, and bouncing body parts 😊
@sophiamiller0712 I thought so. I'm non-denominational, but I visited an Apostolic church this past NYE for the first time. The women all had on long dresses and head coverings. Is the long dresses/skirts required as well?
@@kattmilk No, long dresses/skirts are not a requirement. Modest dressing is encouraged. Some assemblies are more “liberal” than others. Dress modestly and how you feel comfortable is my take
I think robes are a great idea because women and men are too casual with their attire and dress inappropriately in church. The people were singing beautifully at the first clip but the clothes were either too tight or too short. It isn't godly.
