Tony, I am looking at my third knee replacement on my right knee. I am a very active 59 years old woman. The 1st was destroyed by neglligence of doctor and especially rehab facility in 2006. Was able to get the 2nd done by a incrdible ortho dr Kirby Hitt at Scott & White hospital in Texas (I live in Florida) that was in 2009 and my knee has been great until a series of falls due to heart issues. I am scared to have the revision again, but has altered my life so much I am not enjoying it. Do you have any suggestions?

Tony, your videos continue to be extremely helpful, as is your Facebook page. I am in Canada and was discharged from physical therapy in week 4 as I achieved 138 degrees flexion and 0 degrees extension. While these are great numbers and I am happy to have achieved them, my knee is very stiff and my walking gait is certainly off. I am walking around as much as possible - on average 2-4 kms a day and riding the recumbent bike about 5 kms a day now. Recovery is very tiring. I continue to do PT at home (stretches and strengthening ). The tightness is so uncomfortable. is it okay to use mild heat to relax my knee? While icing helps after a walk, I find a warm magic bag to be so soothing - thoughts?

Yep! That sounds perfect. When you are icing you can keep it in a comfortable position.
