The only one I can see becoming true is Greenland being purchased. Denmark is obviously opposed to selling it but isn’t in any sort of position to defend against American aggression economically or militarily. Trump could realistically use his reluctance to stay in nato as a bargaining chip to force Denmark’s European Allies to accept a deal for Greenland, because the US pulling out could spell disaster, especially for Eastern Europe. Essentially, Germany, France, the UK, and the rest of Western Europe are going to have to chose between securing their own long term security interests and the balance of power in Europe by appeasing the United States or siding with Denmark for a somewhat fragile notion of European unity that doesn’t offer much substance. I say fragile because in the words of President Biden “Europe has no soul”. This was said in reference to European inaction and callousness during the Yugoslav civil wars and genocides. European nations have a propensity to look out for themselves regardless of the expense it brings to their neighbors, and If something isn’t in their direct interest they simply won’t do it. The US operates on a different political culture. American politics is highly puritan and focused on larger moral principles that inform political decisions. This is part of where the European-American disconnect comes from, as American politicians and civilians are often shocked at the lack of “loyalty” shown by European leaders and governments. This is where trump gets his narrative that nato is ripping off the United States. If the US is essentially bankrupting itself to fund it’s gargantuan army then logically Europe should support the United States by lowering trade barriers and providing financial assistance. Instead they do the opposite and raise trade barriers while simultaneously boosting their own domestic subsidies to keep their goods at an advantage over the Americans. As a result of this, and the failed war on terror, the United States and its populous have become callous to global affairs that don’t directly involve American interests. Why should the US care about Russia when realistically they would have no quarrel with them if it weren’t for nato dragging them into conflict? That’s a question a lot of Americans are asking themselves now and with china being a much clearer and more direct rival the US is expecting some form of compensation for its continued military involvement in Europe. Europe itself is also not in a good position to deny America. France, Germany, and the UK are all going through severe economic and political crisis from the aftermath of Covid. Spain, Italy, and most of southern Europe are still struggling with mass migration, a native population collapse, and economic turmoil. And Eastern Europe is just starting to spread its wings fully since the post soviet era. Eastern Europe is also likely to side with America here as their security interests would be directly harmed by the affects of an American withdrawal. Contrarily, France and Germany would be reluctant to allow such American expansion because it would threaten the notion of European unity that they’ve cultivated as the leading nations of the EU. Britain and Italy on the other hand are more likely to remain apathetic as they are either closely tied to the United States (Britain) or far removed from conflict itself and apathetic towards inter European unity (Italy). Thus you would have a clear divide between eastern and Western European nations (which can already be seen in the eu) when it comes to Greenland. Europe isn’t unified enough to collectively oppose the United States. Ironically, enough American politicians have been asking for greater European military cooperation for decades which hasn’t happened until the very moment the US has decided to terminate their involvement in nato unless they’re compensated. Europe has effectively dug its own grave to the demands of the United States here and I seriously doubt many Europeans are willing to see their housing, gas, and food prices skyrocket for Greenland of all places. At the end of the day, Europe needs America more than America needs Europe. If Europe can’t even unite itself it cannot possible hope to collectively oppose America especially when American involvement is crucial to the survival of their own nations. Therefore, if push comes to shove, Denmark will either be pressured into selling Greenland or will sell it to avoid conflict with America and appease Americas new political establishment. I can’t say the same for the other scenarios though. Trump is clearly playing hardball with Canada to be more open to American trading interest and Panama is simply to difficult to effectively colonize. At best he negotiates favorable deals but I seriously doubt the idea that America will seize either country 1984 style.
I really don't think Trump is seriously going to buy Greenland. I think he is using it to leverage a mining rights deal and a defense Alliance with Greenland so we can put troops/bases there.
