Tupac had just passed, and a lot of people were still trying to accept Jon has a white artist doing black music. Growing up I always loved his vibes and his music, and I never felt like he was representing anything that wasn't truly himself. Energy doesn't LIE. People can just be so ignorant at times. It's good to see that he is still doing his thing touring and making music, but to also to see that so many people over the years are finally giving him the respect he deserves.
