    Just be you ; I think it has worked well. Enjoyed your videos on different neighbourhoods in Mazatlan Also enjoy your daily trips to local markets, and interaction with shopkeepers. Not to be trite Alexa, but life is an adventure, and that is what you show us in a most real and friendly way! Stick with it young lady, and your subscriber base will continue to grow. Cheers to you and your family.

    I really enjoy your content, and I especially enjoy your “videographer’s eye”. You get some really great shots, artful, tasteful, intriguing. I especially appreciate that you don’t have a bunch of abrupt “jumps” in your videos, especially when talking to the camera. Some bloggers’ style is too jumpy, jerky and frenetic, which I find physically hard to watch. Your transitions are very smooth.

    Videos interacting with the locals should be fun and interesting. Maybe try visiting all the coffee shops in town and provide a review? Anyhow, keep doing what you are doing, don't worry so much about pleasing others.

    I just had a look at your Chanel. You are getting 2000 views with less than 1000 subs. I’d say this is pretty fantastic. If you are going to succeed at UA-cam, you have to be willing to play the long game. I have seen studies of Chanels that take years to get to 1000 subs and now they have thousands of subs. My advice to you is… don’t stop, keep going and make your vids on whatever you feel like. People will Watch because because they like you. 1000 subs is just around the corner. You got this!

    Your most successful videos are the ones that show what it’s like to live down there. Keep it simple. And you’re young, so how do you keep from getting bored? Do you attend church? Are the services in Spanish? Things like that.

    Thank you for being real and transparent. I have no doubt that the Lord will direct your steps as you acknowledge Him in all of your ways. My vote is keep going. Don’t compare yourself to anyone. The Lord has His perfect timing in all of it. He sees what you don’t and can’t. If you are loving what you do, then keep doing it. If you can’t do all the things that cost money you don’t have, keep them on a list. Pray that the Lord will open doors where you won’t need $ but people will want to be promoted on your channel. I think you are a natural and so so gifted! No only do you present well but you video well, you are an excellent photographer with a great eye, and you edit like a professional that’s been doing it for much longer than you have! Be encouraged little sister, it’s coming! Love you🥰♥️🙌🏻

    Hey Alexa! Don’t stress…UA-cam is not easy! Personally I watched your videos because we were thinking of moving to Mazatlan and then also because we did move to Mazatlan! I feel like there is so much interest in Moving to Mexico period. Your highest hit videos were about house hunting, why Mazatlan, pros and cons about living in Mazatlan, going to the Mercado, the La Paz Ferry. Guess what I’m trying to say is cater to that same audience. There is a crazy movement of so many wanting to relocate and are researching these places that are a little more budget friendly…La Paz being one of them! You are in another hotspot my friend!

    Pray on it and see how the spirit leads you🙏🏼I don’t know you but I do hope to meet you and your fam ♥️ I plan to move to Mazatlan as soon as I can get pared down of all my excess belongings😱
    Maybe a little side work and less UA-cam could be revitalizing 🤷‍♀️ stay in touch with your channel though God is using you through it♥️

    If you want to succeed on UA-cam do not stop... stay in La Paz and focus on the beautiful lifestyle of La Paz .. do some research on Keywords for LaPaz and make more 30 second Shortz .. please don't take a break.. Big Mistake .. you're living in one of the most idyllic places on planet earth. Tell your viewers more about La Paz and how people are at peace...

    Saludos desde Alaska. I appreciate seeing vlog style videos of daily life in your area. I like simple everyday life videos. Mercado videos, street and neighborhood walks with narration are cool. Not a huge fan of adventure videos. I thought it was cool that you and your family ended up doing an interview with Mariana.

    I’m probably not the one to ask, because we like ALL your content. The artsy ones, the adventurous ones, the daily life vlogs! We learned so much from you about Mazatlán, and now we are learning about La Paz. But we understand the need for momentum and growth, but not sure how you get that! We definitely loved the every Sunday posts, so consistency is good. When I look at other travel channels we follow, it’s mainly the people presenting that keeps us tuned in. And you do that! You have a wonderful presence on your videos…fun, intelligent, easy going. So you are the real brand. So build on you! Content will follow…. (Not that I’m any kind of expert, lol.)

    I have enjoyed your content very much. I am considering moving to Mexico in the relatively near future and that's how I found your channel. I specifically chose Mazatlan as my desired location, and so then I kept following your videos. Now you've moved to La Paz, which I knew nothing about (other than on a map) and you've been great. I would just keeping with showing us your town, your life, and your experiences. They're all adventures, big or small. As a suggestion, I know for me that I watch a lot of videos of being a soon to be expat...in that I watch watch what it takes for visas, airports, taxes, food, culture, renting, shops, buying, etc. Since you have dual residency, maybe you do videos on how to help Americans / Canadians follow their dreams and do what your family has done. A similar channel would be Qroo Paul & Linda. If your parents aren't full residents, maybe videos on what they're doing to accomplish that. Either way a good mix between informative, teaching, and just fun. BTW, our last trip to Mazatlan took us a few doors down from the eme. With your videos, I felt I had a pretty good visual idea on where I was. Also, ate a few different times at Tacos Dona Any and as you stated it was delicious. Thanks for your videos and I hope you keep going!

      Thank you so much for the encouragement! It means a lot to know that you stuck around to follow the adventures even though they're in a different location 😊 I try to add informative tidbits in my videos without making whole videos about any aspects of living here since I have a mixed audience. I'm so glad to hear that my videos helped you feel more familiar with Mazatlán! I really loved it 🥰 And I love to hear when my viewers visit and support my friends there! Thank you for supporting me and them 💕

    I am so sorry that the numbers are not going the way you want….you do such a great job! But it seems good that you are approaching this as a business and looking for solutions. I’m not creative, but I’d to offer my reasons for watching your channel (and others like it). For myself, I’m a bit older, and I’m looking to move to Mexico within the next year (and maybe Thailand later). What I like to see on videos is life in the particular area: Can you walk places, is it clean, shopping options, etc. One thing I’ve noticed on many of the accounts I like is that there is more than one person “starring” in them: Couples, families. But, on the channels run by individuals (like you), the individual sometimes brings in a family member, or talk to people they know or work with….so they mix it up with others and it’s not just them carrying the load all the time. Anyway, that’s all I could think of….and good luck with your channel.

    I like the music you choose, but would appreciate more Latin / Mexican music. I don’t understand why most UA-cam channels about Mexico don’t include Mexican or Latin music. Music is inseparable from Latin American culture, and really would bring a depth to the video content. I listened/ watched your Independence Day short several times just to listen to the music! There are so many songs to choose from, boleros, baladas, rancheras and other canciones folclóricas, son jarocho, huapangos, etc. Even just instrumental Spanish guitar. I rarely hear Mexican music on English language videos about Mexico. They include the sights, the food, historical and cultural tidbits, but to me it seems that the creators aren’t really immersed in the culture if they aren’t including the music.

    • @adventureswith_alexa
      @adventureswith_alexa  11 місяців тому

      Yes I totally understand that! Up until now I have been using sites with limited options for music given my budget, but I have been looking into some where they may have more Authentic Mexican style music. I love Spanish music and would love to incorporate more of my culture into my videos. Thanks for the suggestion 😊
