That is an awesome snook fishery where you are at! Why are redfish rare in that area, you mentioned down south but I have always assumed that the redfish were along the entire Florida shoreline. Kudos to you for giving out lures to subscribers you meet, are any of those brands you gave out giving you lures or at least pro deals?
The Lake Okeechobee discharges and pollution have done a pretty good job of destroying a lot of the seagrass in that area. As well as it being mostly developed it’s tougher to come by sea trout and reds as you get to south east coast of Florida. And I try to give out stuff to subscribers when I meet them! I do get some things for free but I gave him a little bit of everything I use for snook fishing! He even said he caught a nice fish on one of the swim baits I gave him on the way in

@@Sommertime_Outdoors That is great that he got a nice fish on the gifted lure! I had no idea that the red and speck fisheries were badly affected. I have only shark fished near Cape San Blas and have not had the pleasure of fishing in any other places in Florida.
Not gonna lie I hate those single hooks…
I’m still trying to figure out if I like to use my topwaters with singles or triples and it’s a never ending back and fourth 😂
