I forgot to mention there's lots of ways "Santa" is portrayed to be like God, which is on purpose from satan, and causes so much deep-seeted confusion at a young age about the True Living God. The Lord told me the reason "Santa" is always winking is because "he's" a liar and deceives so many. Wow!
I stopped celebrating Christmas (the massacre of Christ) many many years ago now. When he first put it on my heart, I didn't know the history of how it got started. The scriptures do mention trees being brought in homes and hung on walls and they decorated them. They even put gifts underneath for Baal. Back when the Americas were first being settled it was illegal to celebrate Christmas because they knew it was Baal worship. It is heartbreaking this time of year to know so many are participating in this pagan ritual. God said, "My children perish for lack of knowledge." I haven't met anyone that is even willing to take the time to look up the roots of these worldly holidays. I am very thankful to see this video about it though. Plus I was floored by the cookies being left out. I never realized it is idol worship. Yikes, we have so much to learn!
Yes, we do still have so much to learn! The Lord also showed us that about the Christmas trees in scripture too and had us looking up history, which was when I was asking him do we stop observing all together. He is patient and gracious and will lead us to the truth if we want it ❤
