Heath, You are a genuinely terrific person, through and through. Makes me proud to use your products daily and always recommend to everyone! Keep on keeping on! God Bless You Brother!!
This is great content Heath and top work showing your process behind the scenes. Much love and respect from Australia. “Did you say Pand” 🤣
Aww Heath I was pulling for you to get the top 3. You put in a lot of effort and hard work. I follow your tips and my ribs are pretty good. Oh well there is always next year. Congrats on making the top 10 list!!
Congratulations buddy. You make a hell of a great product and should be very proud in all of your accomplishments. Love using the products and really enjoy Shootin the que podcast and hearing the stories from all the other great cooks. Happy grilling!
Respect love it and your rubs and don’t forget the butter bath thanks for everything
One of the NICEST men I have ever met! Plus look at the product he puts out.
You're the best Heath, keep up the great work. Thanks for making this behind the scenes.
Great content. No matter what the placing, I know ones things for sure. I’m sticking with heaths rubs and sauces forever. Nothing but the best.
I must say you seem very humble and your people around you seem to love what they are doing. I use your products all the time and I do that because you make great ones. Stay humble
Your crew worked like they were your tentacles and you were the octopus! So many tasks choreographed to make it all happen. Great teamwork and leadership! Moe was cool too! Right on Heath! I can see why they named a candy bar after you!
You got that right! I could not have done it without my team. Thank you for the support!
My favorite video of yours so far. Learned a little (as usual) and showed the judging side. Very interesting. Continued success.
Man if you ain't using Heath's products, what the hell are you doing? Congrats on another great showing Heath...you and your team. You make us Mi'ssippi boys proud.
Nice. I bought Garlic Jalapeno Rub from my local Walmart in Tucson a few months ago and use it on many things.
Continued goof cooking Heath.
Nice job brotha!!! Your cooks always look good. Thanks for teaching us back yard warriors all your tricks🤙
Cool video man! Awesome to see how you operate in the competition setting. I’m just getting into comp BBQ so this was helpful to see 👍🏻. Keep on keeping on buddy!!
Most people aren't willing to work this hard, this is why their's doesn't measure up.
Quite the Operation, That butter bath is delicious you could poor that over ice cream and id eat it
Wow that's awesome besides being a pit master you've got to be a showman
It's a little bit of both. Have to be able to explain the cooking process and sell yourself
I really want to see Heath lock horns with the BBQ league boys. And not just Brad and Tim, all of the heavy hitters, ie Slaps, and Clark Crew. That’d be an awesome competition
I love bbq contests, the atmosphere, the comradery, the smells, etc. The subjectivity in the judging and the judging criteria itself drives me nuts. I only entered a couple small local competitions and would not recommend that. If you want to start competing make sure you at least enter one that has experienced, qualified, certified judges so you can get good feedback and learn from it. I vastly prefer the people’s choice variety of judging. I would however love to be a volunteer on a team like this.
I tell everyone to always go for tenderness and give the judge the best bite. Many tips and tricks I've learned. Also, do any kind of judging classes or take pitmasters' classes
@@HeathRilesBBQ good tips for sure. I mentioned qualified judges because I received comments like “too much vinegar” on chicken when there was no vinegar and “next time include burnt ends” on a pulled pork box. Not helpful, lol.
@@mikecoughlin4128 It truly can be a crap shoot. Luck has to be on your side sometimes.
that moment with Big Moe is what it's all about. The comradery, friendly competition and making lifelong friends. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching! Was very proud of Moe, and it was a long time coming for him.
