Thanks, help a lot. One thing I might suggest is jack stands, my buddy has his Rzr 1000 fall over on him crushing his foot while doing the exact same job.
@@MidNebraskaMotorsports Welcome, right after watching your vid I started on the axle job on my 900, I had put jack stands under the frame on both sides, did one side then decided to do the other the next morning, when I came out my motorcycle jack had bled off the pressure and was laying flat, the rig was just sitting on the stands, good thing for the jacks otherwise the rig would of come down on the rotors. I will subscribe, and again thanks for the vid it was much help.

No need to take rotor or caliper off. Just take tire off, take top bolts out of A arm, loosen bottom bolts on A arm, take cotter key out castle nut off, swing hub down, pull axle, no need to deal with shock, reverse procedure.
That might work, but you are really taxing the boot at that point. I've seen boots splits while trying your trick. Hope it keeps working for you though! Thanks for watching and the comment. Let us know if you have any questions or need parts: www.ebay.com/str/midnebraskamotorsports
Grease everything before reassembly! Especially the axle end going to trans. And you didn't tighten that axle nut very much, will probably be replacing the hub bearing pretty soon after running it a couple miles.
@@MidNebraskaMotorsports not trying to correct you my friend. I've got a ranger and have experienced everything with it that can go wrong with a polaris all on one unit. I know you know your stuff, thats why I love your channel. Sorry if I came across as correcting you. Wasn't my intention at all. I use air impact not electric, and I and lots of others grease everything cause of what we ride in. If I don't grease everything then when I have to pull back apart, everything is Seased together and super difficult to remove again. Maybe I need to get me one of those electric impacts. And ill watch how I put things in a comment. Like I said I enjoy and respect all you do for us here on UA-cam. My bad. Didnt mean to come off that way.
i see you used a hammer to put the axel in what would make it pop off of there well driving because i just had it replaced and drove it a week and it popped out?

Terry. I would build a jumper lead or if you'd like to add another trickle charger, you'd be able to charge the batteries quicker. This is the best trickle charger on the market! amzn.to/3DeYQKy
Good stuff. Replaced mine by using this video. Made it very easy and saved money.

Made it a little harder taking the rotor off. Just take top bolt out and then axle will come out. Saves a little time

Looks like you were in a race to get this done, but my recommendation is to use some type of anti-Cs on the axle ends

nice, but dont need to remove the lower bolt on the nuckle, just the top and it will flop over and easy to remove the axle

just curious why you tighten with an impact wrench and do not check torque values. Good video
Good video thank you

How do you diagnose if the CV joint is bad? Can you do a video diagnosing the problem? You mentioned clicking, but I'd like to know more.

Dude use some jack stands! Just saying. Be safe.
Screw the jackstands, it isn't going anywhere.
If it falls it's not going any where and he's not under it.
