Hi. I followed step by step your instructions and i managed to replace the gear knob. Only problem is, now that the knob is insert in the bar, it keeps spinning like it's not hooked. Tips?

Pull the knob back off and glue the intermediate sleeve to the gear lever. If it's not in good condition you can get replacements online for a few dollars.

i highly recommend you keep the plastic part the garter go s in to as the new ones are no as good as the original one
