    I'm glad I am not the only one who's tools don't work when you really need them. 😄

    If I had a choice between one of these old rigs and a brand new machine, I'd take the old one every time. I can afford a new truck, but instead I drive an '84 C20, it's got a 350 in it, parts are everywhere and cheap. I always get a thumbs up driving into town because it's the exception to the norm. There's something to these old analog time pieces, good luck and thanks for rescuing this rig.

    Definitely learn in excavator mode for the controls. So much easier then learning in backhoe mode. Hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas

      I’ve already learned on a backhoe so that’s what I’m used to

    I leave the barrel loose, so the air can escape, before pushing the follower rod in. Then finish tightening the barrel. Seems to work well for me.

    Dig a deep hole, toss all your bottles in it.. below your deepest tillage depth... Done... Watch some videos of Letsdig18 when he's clearing.. pick up techniques of reducing your trees down for burning..

    You picked a good excavator to learn on. It shouldn’t let you get yourself in trouble. A year from now you’ll look back and say I can’t believe how much I’ve learned.

    Wes...don't forget...if you buy the new glass for the cab so "we" can see...then that's a write off on your YT business...right? One last thing...the only yeller things I got to "play" with...was Tonka Toys😕...Enjoy the holidays and stay safe and warm! Thank ya'll for farmin, fixin'', feedin' and fuelin' 🇺🇸 !👍

    We switched to the Milwaukee grease gun. It’s a little $$ but worth it.

    Oldie but a goodie, did you have to go out and plow snow?

    • @WesFarms
      @WesFarms  Рік тому +1

      No we didn’t end up with much snow just cold and wind

    Most trees dig down about 2 foot each side drop dirt right back in same hole and push tree over everyone has to learn

    Just wait till you end up with a landlord that wants you to plant food plots, tell you can’t do certain things because it is not good for their hunting (fall tillage & bail corn stover), times in fall you can’t be on land weeks before & during deer hunting season (they want it harvested after deer season) because they deer will leave area & not come back, they want high rents but restrict your farming that is crazy I believe.

    Really enjoy your videos, just wish you would put more up to watch but I know its a hassle to film everything on the farm. Your father seems to be camera shy, I am sue he is old school and is not to sure about the you tube stuff.

    Great Video. You may already know. Watch Letsdig18 UA-cam channel. Maybe pick up some pointers. He is the master of tree clearing and dirt work. Keep up the great work and Videos. 👍

    You're doing great for a beginner The more you run it the better you'll get and a thumb would help a lot
    Great video

    So your not going to take out the foundation, and your not going to farm it. Trees are for more than birds, they are also there to provide your children with oxygen and reduce global warming. But furthermore, if a spot for the trucks is what you needed, then maybe putting in a 4 inch thick gravel pad on the edge of the road would have been a better choice. For example, right behind you on the edge of the road @ 22:10 through 22:17 .

    • @WesFarms
      @WesFarms  Рік тому

      Not going to argue with you, I just want the trees gone. There’s plenty more trees

    • @WesFarms
      @WesFarms  Рік тому +1

      Oh btw, corn and other crops also remove co2 from the air like the trees

    • @maineman11
      @maineman11 Рік тому

      @@WesFarms Not sure how it is an argument? But whatever. Also, that is the same justification that a billion other people have "there are more tree's". With that thought process, there won't be tree's for much longer!
